      If the only banking that you do is with a prepaid debit card like chime, and then you swap to a different prepaid card and didn't keep any records, I can see how you would lose easy access to that information.

    Sadly, the older you get, the less you require or are willing to fight. Shame on the plantiffs if they didn't do the defendants grandmother right. Equally shame on the defendant for not paying her bills despite what was in her head as a bad landlord. If she thought it was SO terrible, help her! I hope someone who truly cares about her grandmother takes over.

    I was in an apartment with my family for 14 years and it was terrible. So Judge Judy should not assume it was good if someone stays there long. Money was a major factor for us and we dipped as soon as we managed to work together after saving and buy a house. Idk if their story is similar but not everyone stays that long because it's great.

    • @sab5076
      @sab5076 2 роки тому +11

      The mother said she had no issues with living there and the plaintiff said they had no issues with her. It was only with the daughter and that's because she wasn't paying what she was supposed to pay.

    • @MrsGtbala
      @MrsGtbala 2 роки тому +3

      @@sab5076 that makes sense. I'm still saying that Judy can't assume people stay somewhere for so long because they like it there all the time. Her asking her if she would have her mother stay someplace that is bad was not a relevant question. I'm speaking from my own personal experience. You just never know what people have to endure and she never had to live like that to understand.

    • @JamieM470
      @JamieM470 2 роки тому +2

      @@MrsGtbala You're so right. It's so irritating when clueless people say "Just move!".
      You have to find a new place & be approved to move there, pay a deposit or down-payment, pay to turn all utilities on in the new place (many times big deposits for each one), usually take time off from work (which is a whole other snarly mess), and find people to help them move or pay a moving company.
      It's expensive to move!
      It's a real struggle (and sometimes even impossible) for people who don't have a good paying job and/or savings.
      "Just move!" is like saying "There's no bread? Then let them eat cake!" Clueless.
