I didn’t know people who have never worked qualified for SSDI unless they got on it as a child.
What disability or ss she’s never put into is paying for a nice cabin? Her husband probably had money, she’s clearly incompetent, so as soon as the son was old enough he split from her and she went to mooch off her son until he got tired of her.

I never understood that. How do people not know how to prioritize rent? What’s the point in paying electric, cell phone, cable, water bill, car payment, anything at all, if you don’t have a place to live for it.
Food? Okay maybe. But depending on how long it’s going to be before I can afford food again I would go two or three days without food to pay rent. Or go to a food pantry.
Well, she doesn’t work.. she has no money. 😅

A lot of people think a squatter is only someone who moves in to an empty property without the property owners knowledge, they can't put the pieces together that staying without paying is the same thing.

A classic case of a woman whose husband took care of her for 30 years and when they were separated she had ZERO life skills. @@Hudpix16 I'm not from the States but across all these shows this seems to be the common thread. That and having a record. In Europe it is not common to get arrested so easily so that really stands out to me as well
You couldn't tell by looking at me that I have debilitating Crohn's disease. I'm just saying you can't necessarily tell by looking at somebody. Then again, I do work a salaried, full-time job even though I could get disability. But, I work for a really good company. Most aren't so lucky.

There was one woman who moved into a deployed service members house and couldn't get her evicted for the longest time because she had a fake lease.

I didn’t know people could qualify for SSDI without ever working unless they got on it as children. My cousin receives it because he is developmentally delayed and has been all of his life.
I got diagnosed with Autism at age 3 so I qualify for Supplemental security income. I work now but only from late March to early November because my jobs are seasonal. I'm in the process of getting a college degree so I can work my dream job.

you cannot qualify for SSDI without working, she's likely getting SSI, which is welfare. Children can get benefits from their disabled parent or a dead parent. Your cousin might also get SSI if his parents have not worked enough to collect benefits.
Im disabled and one of the requirements is that I had to pay into social security for twenty years before qualifying to apply for it. And they check your work history!!
She actually looked ashamed for a second towards the end. I hope she left with what little dignity she could muster at that point

this happened to my parents. the squatters only left after my parents made the situation unlivable for them (my parents couldn't afford to evict and the roommates had squatter's rights even though they never paid bit of rent). the squatters started pooping in our yard. it was awful.

Landlord has no clue about small claims court. Judge Judy was telling him he needed a real lawyer not a paralegal and to get a writ of eviction started in county court with a real lawyer. He thanked Judge Judy thinking she could do the eviction out of her jurisdiction. LOL!

This lady has no dignity!!! She acts like this is normal!! Its terrible that it takes months to move somebody out of your home who isnt paying rent. This is where the law fails. If its determined that no rent has been paid and there is no legal reason they should be given 3 days to vacate.
It is very agravating to me to see people like this scammer. I am on Social Security retirement at 82 years old. I worked from 12 years old until I was 79. I had a small handyman business at 79 but it became to much for my health so I retired. It's simply not right that lazy scammers such as this woman are allowed to skim the system that was made for the elderly to retire on, and for people who are really disabled, which she is clearly not.

This is the information that I saw. If you have squatters what you do is get a relative close friend write up a lease say they've been there say January till next January they lives there have it notarized then change your. Then send your friend list the police escort and get them kicked out for trespassing because you have a lease there. Lawyers no nothing. This is what you do exactly what I said. And I believe you are good to go
Just to play devil's advocate, didn't plaintiffs check her out before letting her move in? Like, didn't they request bank statements, tax returns, pay stabs, - anything that proves she is financially stable to cover the rent.

There are certainly a lot of scammers out there and I'm sure there's just as many legitimate ones if not more but it's a real problem the fact that so many people are clearly taking advantage but that's your first suspicious indicator right there if they have multiple evictions or they haven't paid rent in their squatting that should be forwarded to the case workers to look at I mean
