Appreciate the heads up regarding the scam. So far so good, but scammers have gotten so good that one of these days I'll fall for something. My father was in his 90's when he got the call from my "son" from the DR or Mexico or someplace like that asking for money cause he was in trouble. Dad went to Wegman's to wire him the money. Thank GOD for the employee there who advised him it was probably a scam and asked him to call his grandson before sending the wire. Dad had some savings, but was basically living on Social Security. These people are shameless. Safe travels. Enjoy the show!

Just purchased two Sun Pass Pro passes in Florida. It works in several states like E ZEE pass. Purchased an E ZEE pass in Virginia to travel to the Northeast after departing the AMTRAK auto train back in October. Needed it for all the tolls I would encounter along my route. Problem was it only worked in Virginia for the first 48 hours. Received a toll notice From NJ E ZEE pass for $20.00 dollars plus a service fee of $50.00 dollars, for a total of $70.00 dollars. Yes I got scammed by NJ ZEE pass, even though I had given them my information about my account. Thank you for sharing about the scam, I will watch for a text.
You don’t have to the service fee as long as you had EZ Pass. Just go to their website and you can take care of the notice there. They will waive the service fee.
@@EndlessRVing Thank you for advice about contacting them. I did call and talked with a customer service rep, and she did take my information to charge my account. After a couple of weeks, I received another notice that my account was past due, and I was denied an appeal. I paid the $70.00 dollars to clear my account. I did everything properly and got screwed. I do enjoy you both and the content you provide about RV life. Take care, Safe travels.

Used to have EZ Pass for New York and Pennsylvania. I use the one in Texas now. Thanks for the "heads-up!"

Thanks for the heads up. We use easy pass but we load our account through the website. It's terrible when you can't trust text messages or phone calls anymore.
Had E-Z Pass when I lived back in Philly. Loved it. Not many scams back then.
Thanks for the heads up. Oklahoma's Pikepass sent out an email about 2-3 weeks ago warning of this same scam.

I helped the scammers get in trouble by putting fake information in. Like all 1s for a credit card. Those websites don't put limits on things that should be fixed in length. I didn't get anymore of that kind as much. I can't say what name I used. Thought of putting an FBI officer as the address. The city is the Pacific Ocean. If the scammer fell for the city name, then it was a stupid scammer.

Hi Izzy and MJ! I have not seen text messaging on E-Pass but I’ve had gotten emailed tried unsubscribing but they keep coming back so I just deleted them. I figured it was a scam. Attending our 6 NASCAR RACE this year next week. Then back to Florida until the last week of May when we head toward Tennessee for the Music City VIP NIRVC event. I feel you will start seeing more events like this as the word gets out that people enjoyed all,that is being offered.

The Ohio State Attorney General issued a warning about this scam about two weeks ago and all of the local TV stations reported it. I haven't gotten any text but I'd ignore it because I didn't give the E-PASS people my cell phone number.

I-Pass went through the same exact scam 4-5 months ago.

I received one of those scam texts about a week ago for Sunpass here in Florida. Deleted it.
I won't be going to The big NIRVC Music City Motorhome Expo VIP Experience. It will be an amazing show and the entertainment will be amazing with a limited number of people allowed to go/attend. I know it will be fun because AIM will be who is running it. I told Angie at the Customer appreciation rally last month when we were at The Ridge Outdoor Resort,1250 Middle Creek Rd, Sevierville, TN 37862. I am not looking right now so I would let someone looking have my spot. When you get to travel more you need to check out The Ridge.
Pigeon Forge in Tennessee is awesome. Big playground. Check it out if you have time. MJ is not a teenager?

We won't be attending the show, maybe next year. We have a lot of travel planned for this year starting in June with a trip to Portland, OR, Phoenix, AZ, Winchester Bay, OR, Arkansas, Tennessee , Alabama, the Dakotas, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. A busy summer for us !!!!

Share with your viewers if receiving a suspicious email just click on the senders email address. Once you see the email address you can obviously tell it’s fraud!

It’s very simple copy the text message and pass to the United States Secret Service, Wire Fraud Division. Then they can take action.
Folks, when you go to the Nashville show, ask Newmar if you can get the Ventana and Northern Star without carpet in the slides. Those traveling with pets would really appreciate that!
