I want to thank you for your classes. You teach reasoning and provide tools to learn to think in English. He does it in a slow and understandable way. Only a true teacher can achieve it. Congratulations.
I just love the way to talk.....I'm almost 63 and I'm still trying to improve my english.. That's one of my goals in life. Thanks for everything you do to help others .
Thank you for watching my lessons, @myriamgalindo3939. I believe you are never too old to learn, and you can absolutely speak English with confidence. Don't lose your focus.
Just discovered your channel by chance, and you know what? This is what I need. I find it hard to connect my sentences. But now, after watching this, I am feeling confident already. Thank you for this lesson. It really helps me a lot and other English learners as well.
Your English sounds great . It is a brilliant sample how to be really confident and impressive and to be authentic too. Thanks you show a amazing way to use English .
Wooow !...thank you so much teacher!...as always your videos are useful and perfectly designed☺I need to use theese resources (I have heard about then as connectors) I hope in a short time I will improve my speaking using them every day.
I can certainly add that to my list of future lesson topics. You might also like to view the video library on my website, Job Interviews in English, www.speakconfidentenglish.com/category/job-interviews-in-english/
Very interesting your lesson. I would like a lot to take a complete course to learn to write correct. Where can I register to take it.?Congratulations for being a good teacher
Thank you, Luis. I'm glad to know it was a helpful lesson. My focus is primarily on speaking. At this time, I'm not familiar with specific teachers who provide writing courses. However, I know many English schools offer wonderful writing programs.
I really apprieciate the effort you spend in the making of this video. However, It would be a good idea for you to pause the screen a little bit after you introduce some phrases/ words, so that we can take notes of them. The pause doesnt have to be long though, only 10 seconds or less. I find it a little bit unconvenient to constantly press the Pause button on UA-cam to take notes of new words/ phrases you give in the video. All in all, thank you so much for providing us with free but high-quality content here on UA-cam.
Thank you for the comment and suggestions. I will take this into consideration. I appreciate that you take the time to take notes on the lessons, and that they are helpful to you. 😀
I have a technical thinking and I really love your approach - clear, well-defined use cases, lists of phrases and one or two examples. This helps me a lot to understand a memorize. 👌
Good, but make it more academic, since students in Africa, particularly here in Ethiopia, are extrinsically motivated-studying the English language to pass their exams.Your pronunciation is captivating, with slow, natural speed of speech. Thanks, and go ahead
Liked & subscribed! Question: How about "sometimes" and "other times?" Do you say, "Sometimes, I go to bed early; other times, late?" Or, "Sometimes, I go to bed early; sometimes, late." Do you use "sometimes..., other times..." or "sometimes..., sometimes...?" Which one is correct? Thank you.
Thanks for the question. Both of your examples could be used. There is little to no difference between using 'other times' vs. 'sometimes' in the second part of your example sentence. However, saying "Sometimes I go to be early" implies that it isn't always true. There's an understanding that at other times you may go to bed late so you could also leave out the second part of the sentence.
I'd like to know when to stress the words in a sentence. I always hear you , in fact many native speakers do, stress the preposition "to". However, many English teachers are telling the English learners not to stress any prepositions in a sentence because they are not content words. Please help.
Hi, thank you for the request. I'll certainly consider a lesson on this in the future; however, I will say that most of the time the word 'to' is reduced. There may be times when it is spoken clearly (this doesn't mean it is stressed, only that it isn't reduced) or may even be stressed for a specific reason (such as clarification). Do you have a specific example you can share with me? It would be helpful if I could listen to an example you're thinking about.

They are linking words but if you can express yourself with fewer words conveying the same sense you should strive to speak clearly and briefly. Use linking words only when really necessary. There is no need to add words just so so you appear smarter.
I have difficulty with English writing, and this limits me from applying to positions I know I can do well. However, my English writing is not advanced. I struggle with this because English is my second language. I hate it. I feel useless.
Great again, marvellous teacher. English with a teacher like that English seems to be easier than really it is!!!
I want to thank you for your classes. You teach reasoning and provide tools to learn to think in English. He does it in a slow and understandable way. Only a true teacher can achieve it. Congratulations.
