I kept searching for the language channels for all these years, but none made me stay, not that they were not good enough, just couldn't motivate me enough, that's my bad 😅. Now that I am attracted to your lessons, your softly spoken, your sincerity, understanding our fear, I hope I can improve a lot. 🌹
Your multi purpose lessons will make them attractive because they aren't designed just for english learning but trains successful social living style. Thank you dear mentor🌹🌹🌹😘😘😘
You're welcome. I'm glad the lesson was helpful. I can certainly add similar lessons in the future. Could you tell me more about what you particularly enjoyed in the lesson?
Inclusivity is a must in negotiations. We need to use the word "we" in the discussion. This ensures that we are all in this together. The win-win concept is a lofty idea, but it implies two teams. In my work, we work as one team to achieve the ultimate goal.
1. Identify your ultimate goal, limits, and alternatives 2. Find common ground and rapport 3. Understand the other side 4. Establish trust 5. Speak directly and concisely 6. Show interest and openness 7. Actively listen 8. Use inclusive sentences
Could you please do lecture on confusing word such as "of note" and so on? I think I might have been using it wrongly. I thought I might have completely misunderstood the actual meaning of it.
Thank you for the suggestion, Keira. I'd be happy to do a future lesson on this topic. You mentioned "and so on." Are there other words, similar to 'of note' that typically cause confusion?
Thank you for the video suggestion. I recently did a step by step video lesson on how to write professional emails in English. You can watch it here, www.speakconfidentenglish.com/professional-emails-in-english/
" In game theory, a win-win game is a special case of a non-zero-sum game that produces a mutually beneficial outcome for two or more parties. If a win-win scenario is not achieved, the scenario becomes a lose-lose scenario by default, since all parties lose if the venture fails"
I would like to use mostly the 4th strategy that gaining trust by asking small questions For example, I think i understand, so what you are saying is.... is that right?
Could u pls advise that as a manager , how response employee when he said something is not true and just make a small matter to big deal he was challenged my authority, criticized your decisions or undermines my credibility in professional English
Thank you for the lesson suggestion. I would recommend reviewing my lesson library on Business Professional English, www.speakconfidentenglish.com/category/professional-english/

Dear Annemarie it may manage one to one negotiation strategies that you learned in this video but in team to team negotiations there is a lots of challenges. Each indivisual insisted on her/his viewpoints and meeting will divert to unwanted direction. Do you how it is possible have successful negotiation as a team member. Yesterday we have a terrible business one and because there was not a predetermined policy we can't achieved our goals and win tender. After meeting i realized one of other side members have sympathy with our competitor and intentionally redirected negotiations toward his favorite company winning.

We would like to collaborate with you team for this new enhancement project. However they are saying it's not impossible for them to implement due to extra tasks to be performed. That was opposed to an existing process flow.
