- This video was a recorded over a month ago I just didn't have time to post it due to the birth of my daughter. I discuss ceramic blades and why a barber would change out the standard steel cutting blade for a ceramic version.
Anyone watching. This is how it's done. Straight to the point
For some reason the wahl standard blade tends to nip at the skin. I changed the regular cutting blade to a ceramic blade and it went away. I also notice that the fade comes out better than the regular metal cutting blade. Im always gonna change to ceramic when i get a new clipper.
it help to decide. thanks this revirew bro,
Great Video Straight to the point🙌
Got some ceramic blades for my whal detailers and while touching up my beard it left me with two red cheeks 😅 dobt know if they are two sharp or just cheap
Do I need to change the top blade as well? Will changing to a ceramic blade make my machine louder?
I started using them and I love them on my magic clip
Hey how long does it take for the senior to heat up with the ceramic blade? I have the seniors and I don’t like how they get hot quickly
Patrick Silva I can get through a 45 min cut without them getting too hot to use.
definitely must try ty for review !
Great vid. Just wondering if both pieces are ceramic on the D8, or just the smaller blade?
Just the smaller blade 😉👍🏿
Can you use these on all clippers?
This makes me wonder why these ceramic blades are not OEM... There's probably a backward somewhere.
good vid! congrats on the baby
lavis Thank you 🙂
do you oil them?
@@PrototypeBMX yes I would as the outer blade being metal still needs it for a smooth gliding surface.
Link to the blades
Before I watch I only like them on fast feeds definitely not on trimmers... now to the video
ceramic blade no heating issue? ceramic blade is cool?
I found them to stay cooler for longer versus steel blades.
Any specific brand of ceramic blades? I'm looking at Ideal that's available to me.
I think they all come from China and then rebranded once they get into the retailers hands.
@@DarkHorse08 agreed
I must have purchased the wrong ceramic blade! When i installed it on my Seniors it was super loud !!
Make sure screws are snug and oil the blades. That might help.
The blade you bought would have been a bad fit. It must have been too loose on the cam follower so it will rattle that’s what you’re hearing
For what culture?
How do you sharpen ceramic blades?
They cant be sharpened.
Theyre fragile but the cant be dull, unlike metals. They also dont rust at all, no worry about getting them dull
Ceramic is🔥
Cool... TEETH!
What happened to the chin?
Some people can’t grow hair there. I can’t
