Just pressed on this video as it came up on my feed. Wow, I used to watch your videos back in the very early days, when it was only Leopard Geckos, it's how I go into getting my first reptile and inspired me to do animal biology at university and publish about herpetology. Amazed your still going! Keep doing what your doing and inspiring future generations to pursue a career in herpetology and raising awareness. Big respect.
Love seeing the room and everyone in it. You take such good care of your reptiles!! Can't wait to see the updated tanks when they happen. (Also, I am insanely jealous of how nicely some of your plants have grown in.) The next time we we-do one of our crestie tanks, I am 100% going to aim for an umbrella plant or two to fill in the upper areas!
Oh wow! Thank you so much for the shoutout! 💜 massive praise indeed, thank you! Love your enclosures, looking forward to seeing what you do in the future!
@@leopardgeckotalk he’s moving in with a 3D background like yours soon but I’m going to make it bio active so I need to wait for the supplies (tysm for replying)
I just got a trio of ETS they’re so fun! One I’ve named Lisa loves to just sleep in the folds of my sweater and pockets. The other two are less chill/personable but still seem to like to jump out on to me for a quick explore :) They seem to be more active in the afternoon/evenings
I would also love to see an isopod video, I'm in that stage where I'm worried I've killed them all off but also scared of being overrun by them and them escaping into my carpeted house 😮
haha it's coming very soon :) I talk about how to feed them/keep them alive, but also I've become to good at it, and they've got a little out of control lol
Hi, can I have some advice for my Leaperd gecko. He keeps trying to get out of his enclosure and doesn’t look happy. These are the things I have in his enclosure. A moist and warm hide, ZILLA jungle mix as the substrate, and a food, water, and calcium bowl in there with a couple of fake plants.
Are you using a thermometer stuck on the side of the tank, like a manual/dial thermometer? If so, there's a chance the hot end/basking area, is far hotter, as this just reads the air temp. If you are using a digital one with a probe that accurately reads the basking area, then that's fine. Sometimes if the tank is too small, or too hot, or too moist, your geckos going to want to get out.
@@leopardgeckotalk thank you so much for the info, I have a 15 gallon tank and I mist the tank once every 2 weeks and we use a thermometer stuck on the side of the tank but we will get a thermostat soon. Thank you so much for the info I am a huge fan of your work👍🏼
Check out gastrophilis prasina (green keeled bellied lizards) similar to emerald tree skinks except they are a lacerta. They are very intelligent and I’ve trained mine to come when I make a clicking noise with my tongue.
To be fair I do find both Maui and Diego climbing up their tank, they're very active and seem to like exploring vertically. But yeah as I said in the video, if Bruce's tank becomes free, then I may move one of the males in the 4ft long tank.
⚠️ I NEED HELP WITH MY LEOPARD GECKO ⚠️ I have a leaped gecko named “Twitch” and lately my mom has been feeding him. When I told her his feeding schedule I said 8-10 mealworms everyday and 5 or so crickets every 3 days. (This was his previous feeding schedule from his last owner so I just stuck with it.) But a few weeks ago my mom just stoped feeding him mealworms all together…. 😮 and he has gotten EXTREMELY skinny. And boney. And his tail is SO SMALL… I keep telling my mom to give him mealworms if she is gonna feed him. But now I wonder if it’s to late. I woke up this morning and he is to tired to move, I can pick him up with ease. ( he normally won’t let me do that, he will bite.) and he never will open his eyes. This morning I found him stuck in his water bowl, and I had to help him out. Now he is laying in his moss, and won’t leave. ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!! I DON’T WANT HIM TO DIE!! ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️
Don't let your mom feed him anymore and try to offer wax worms if he won't eat and just try to feed him if he still has an appetite and if he does still have an appetite it is most likely not too far gone
Hey there, Have you taken him to the vets? Leos are pretty resistant and especially over winter they can sometimes barely eat but still retain the weight. It sounds like he may have a parasite. Especially, if she is still feeding crickets. Mealworms are okay, but not the best. I would definitely get him check over though. Also has she been dusting the food with the appropriate supplements? He could be very malnourished.

Oh wow, that's so cool. Feel free to link what you've published, I'd love to read it! Thank you 😊😊
Obsessed with your content and how you treat your animals. Every pet should have palaces like these!!
Aww thanks so much!
I love how much thought you put into creating the best environment for them. Thanks for inspiring me to be a reptile keeper also 🙂

aw thank you :) Yeah the umbrella plant outgrew my chahoua tank, 24" tall, so I knew it needed more room, but my goodness it's spreading out quickly 🙈
Yippie!!!
I did enjoy the video, thank you. I'm patiently waiting for the next one. 👍🏻😎
thanks :)

No problem :D Thanks!
Great tour! Looking forward to your future upgrade!
thank you!
Would love to see that video on isopods! They're one of my favorite sub-aspects of the hobby.
Coming very soon 👀
❤
nice tour.
thank you!
roomy tanks with lot of enrichment so impt my crested gecko in a 18x18 x36 enclosure n she loves it
Aww sweet, yes, 60cm/24" now feels too short haha.
I got my gecko a 120 gallon tank
Cool!
Amazing! :D How are they doing in it?

Aww that's so cool! I've only ever seen them in my local zoo. They seem quite rare to find in shops. They're such a cool species.
Oh my god i remember watching you from the very beginning, i lost my old account so i had to make a new one and completely forgot ur channel name
Great video, thank you. What do you use for branches?
thank you :D I just use cork branches :)
Good luck selling and finding a new place!
thank you :D

sharing your temps + humidity might be extra helpful as well 😊
@ my temps are 90 degrees in the hot hide and I don’t know the humidity we haven’t bought a thing to tell
@ thanks

where do u get your leaf litter?
I've bought some off of etsy before 😂 but my recent lot, I just got from a local shop.

Aw that's awesome, these do keep coming up whenever I mention I want a tree skink haha. I'll have to do more research :)
I think space is a problem for us all, think yourself lucky i have 3 retics
Oh goodness, yes haha, I can only imagine 🙈
I want to know everything about your isopod breading!!! Any things someone should know before getting a blue tounge?
next video 👀😊 haha, as for the blue tongue, I do have an expectations vs reality video about them - ua-cam.com/video/o_zXCVxatFk/v-deo.html
Do the green bellied keeled lizards instead of the tree skinks
Do you think? Lol. I've had that suggested to me before, but whenever I look into it, I sway more towards the skinks.
@ I have one and he’s comes of of his cork bark tube to see me. I’m a little bias but I just think they are way better .
Hey, where is the Biorb Earth tank? Don't you use it anymore?
I don't currently have anything other than plants in it. It will briefly feature in my next video.
@leopardgeckotalk Thank you. I'm looking forward to seeing it in your video.
I just ordered mine a few days ago with a 600€ discount.
Hi would the leopard gecko not be better in a 4ft wide instead of 3 and lower the height from 4 to 3ft or does he climb that height and use the space?
To be fair I do find both Maui and Diego climbing up their tank, they're very active and seem to like exploring vertically. But yeah as I said in the video, if Bruce's tank becomes free, then I may move one of the males in the 4ft long tank.
How can I get Omnigold in the US?
Sadly I think the US doesn't allow it because of the egg in it or something, very frustrating as it's very good.

@@Zoni_Robinson you might also feed him roaches. Leo’s seem to love roaches and yes take him to the vet immediately
