Her fame precedes her, but the roman climber Laura Rogora, born in 2001, has never boasted about her accomplishments. Speaking with her, people get astonished: she is just over 20 years old, but she is already a champion. Laura is a member of the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro of the Italian police force. She is also studying mathematics at the University of Trento. Thanks to her father, she discovered climbing when she was only 4 years old. A few years later she started practising in the gym. In 2016, only 14 years old, she became Italian Champion in the Lead and Boulder categories. In the same year, she became the first Italian climber to climb a 9° route, with the repetion of “Grande Gesti” (Sperlonga). Year after year, she kept racking up wins and raising the bar even higher, becoming the first woman in the world to climb the 9b/+ route “Erebor” near Arco (Trento).

La sua fama la precede, ma la scalatrice romana Laura Rogora, classe 2001, non si è mai vantata delle sue imprese. Parlando con lei la gente rimane stupita: ha poco più di 20 anni, ma è già una campionessa. Laura è un membro del Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro della Polizia di Stato. Studia anche matematica all'Università di Trento. Grazie al padre ha scoperto l'arrampicata quando aveva solo 4 anni. Qualche anno dopo ha iniziato ad allenarsi in palestra. Nel 2016, a soli 14 anni, diventa Campionessa Italiana nelle categorie Lead e Boulder. Nello stesso anno diventa la prima alpinista italiana a salire una via di 9°, con la ripetizione della “Grande Gesti” (Sperlonga). Anno dopo anno ha continuato a collezionare vittorie e ad alzare l'asticella sempre più in alto, diventando la prima donna al mondo a salire la via 9b/+ “Erebor” vicino ad Arco (Trento).
