I told my family that I was starting to make doll customs and the first response was my sister-in-law asking "So you're like Sid from Toy Story, right?" I answered "Yes. I have lots of Marie Antoinette and her little sister."
Yasssss Lisa Frank! Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who remembers her, but this doll is SOOOO amazingly true to her whole aesthetic while being absolutely unique that you can't help but see her inspiration even if you weren't told. The accessories are fabulous, and she gives off a "90s" vibe that I just adore. Sorry for so many comments in a row but these dolls are just fantastic 💜💜💜

Oh man, you def don’t have to be a gay boi to love Lisa Frank!! The lil girl in me still LOVES all the colour and fun she gives us!! Been waiting for more mods like this!!! I started a series of taking the dollar store Halloween animal skeletons and using the skulls, legs wings etc to make cool hybrid dolls, you’re inspiring me to get back to it!

I was concerned about the smudges, I wonder if wearing gloves would’ve helped, rubber maybe (pain in the butt gloves lol ) or paint the lines instead, that’s more precarious tho.

Lisa Frank is for everyone!!! 🌈 Gloves tend to bother me too much, I'm usually able to get away with it since when I'm doing just the face because I can use the wrapped off parts as a pivot points. I was actually back and forth on the nails but the original artwork had solid white paws showing so I didn't...Thank you so much though!!!!! More hybrids coming soon!

Love how wild and colorful this is. I was thinking if you wanted to give her a companion with 90s nostalgia the zebra from the FruityStripe gum was also rainbow. If I remember right they were sporty too. And since the gum had temporary tattoos maybe you could do a tattoo design if you felt like it.

gorgeous! loved the head colours and was wishing you used those on her body as well but you are so very talented and i like your new dremel tool! im going shopping for one soon because i battle with a sharp knife and gonna cut my finger off soon lol
Thank you! The head colors are used on the body as well they just ended up in the parts covered by her clothes (i.e. the back and upper thigh) The dremel is an awesome tool!
This is such an awesome idea! You should get a wax pencil to pick rhinestones up with; it will speed up the process immensely.
