Love your cards, as far as getting ready for party. Clean bathroom surfaces and kitchen. Make room for people to sit in comfort and ENJOY. I clean for a living and 99 percent of people at a party will never notice what you missed. Kelly, you are the BEST, enjoy this busy, hectic part of your life. It will be gone before you realize.
Love the eggs and Easter bear! Pawsome stamps have fun cute stamps. I have a number of them. Good luck getting everything done and thanks for showing your speckling technique 🥰
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPTY BIRTHDAY SWEET ERIC HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU - SENDING YOU PEACE, JOY, BLESSINGS AND A YEAR OF AMAZEMENT!!!! MAY YOU ENJOY YOUR DAY SURROUNDED WITH YOU LOVED ONES!!!
WOW! Kelly. Girl. Please!! If I made stamps like she does I would have picked you to show my stuff off, FOR SURE! Here I thought Easter eggs were BORING!? Now I probably am going to HAVE to go get these .. sigh... I know you'll pull this party thing off perfectly, Happy Birthday Eric!! 🎈🥳🎉🎂🍭🧁🥂🍹 Looking forward to storytime!! 😂

I could play for weeks with every set! Also love this technique! It could be used on so many cards! Just love love love your videos and how you generously share all of your knowledge and great tips! Hope the party went well!!
I LOVE whimsical!!! When I watercolor I almost always do whimsical. It’s just sooo fun. As always they are beautiful cards 🥰. Girl, you need a ScanNCut! I am so terrible at fussy cutting, so bad. 🤦♀️
The flowers look amazing. Your coloring with copics over distress ink always gives stunning results. The bunny-bear looks whimsical with their rainbow eggs. Love, love, love it all!
Love Love Love these cards. I would love to see more of this style. Makes it less intimidating too. Thanks for all your helpful info. The tip on which hand to hold the cardstock and scissors when fussy cutting was really helpful. I did not know that. I will def try that and see if it helps me. Happy Birthday Eric!!
Love the way they both turned out, funny u mentioned neat and tangled, I just pulled out Easter stamps and one of them is my fav set from Danielle with the little girl pulling the wagon❤❤
Kelly - your videos are getting better and better and better!!! Not that they were ever (as in ever never) bad!! You are real, hysterically funny (words are fun) and so delightful. Your talent as a card maker/artist is amazing and filled with clever ideas!!! As to what not to do on your get ready for the party check list....feed the kids (nah) take care of the kids (nah again) get Peanut a haircut (well there are always dull scissors at home) kiss Eric (oh yeah!!!)....okay that list of what to do or not to do was meant to give you a good giggle.....yes feed the kids, yes take care of the kids, use a barber for Peanut's haircut....and double triple yes kiss Eric after all he is your hubby and it is his birthday weekend!!!!
Love the whimsical cards. They are super cute. I'm always amazed at the difference in the images once the shadows are added. Thanks for another great video!
There are not enough adjectives to describe all your cards. Having watched you channel for a couple years now, I can spot your videos before I see whom actually made them. You have your own unique style. What always amazes me is how your mind thinks to create a unique card every time. I’m feeling a little more partial to your Easter card. But, I think it’s because it’s one of those cards that are specific to one day. It’s a specific day, not a season to celebrate.
I really, really love your cards. I generally don’t enjoy coloring images, but the distress inking base is something I will definitely try. As for your over-extended weekend, I suggest calling the house cleaners that you used before to get some help if you can. Or can you call your mom or sisters to help with a few things? Wishing you the best of luck with a super busy weekend!
The bunny-bear is so cute! Your kids will love it! And gosh Kelly, to accomplish everything you WISH to do, what's wrong with staying up all night (lol)??? You don't REALLY need to sleep do you?!!! I'm going to show my age but here's my OPINION about birthday's! Maybe it will help you "prioritize"!!! I grew up in the days when one could purchase 3.2 beer and/or go to bars that served 3.2 beer (no liquor) at age 18. Once you turned 21, you could purchase liquor and go to "clubs" that served liquor (mixed drinks and 6.0 beer)! At that time, a person actually had to have a membership to get into "clubs" (liquor). The rules were different by state. I grew up in Ks where alcohol rules were very strict. It was so bad, airlines couldn't serve liquor while in airspace above Ks. Passenger trains had to close the club car while passing thru Ks. This sounds crazy doesn't it (lol)? Ks was VERY "backward" in those days but it's better now than it was! In those days, once you were out of Jr High (now called Middle School), the "important" birthdays were age 18 and age 21!!! Once you hit 29, you wanted birthday's to "disappear"!!! The older you get, the more you want people to FORGET it's your birthday!!! For me, and NUMEROUS people I know, birthday's are a number and just another day on the calendar!!! Take care of your mental state. If you allow yourself to say (and accept): "it's okay that I don't accomplish everything I WANT", everything will fall into place. As always, we are our own worst enemies. The only person who's judging you is yourself. Remember, people aren't coming to your house to inspect your housekeeping! They're there to have fun and celebrate your husbands birthday! IF someone says something about your house, you can laugh and say: "you're welcome to come clean anytime"!!! Take care of yourself and your family. Hugs! P.S. I'm sorry I wrote a "book" and I SURE hope I didn't offend you.
Beautiful as always! When I try to color the edge of my images after cutting them out , I have trouble with bleeding. Any tips to prevent this from happening?
Hmm maybe see if your marker is over filled? Try taking the other end of the cap off. Also, you can start further away from the stamp line to see how much it bleeds in.
Spring has sprung in card world. Beautiful colors
Beautiful, happy cards. And, from you with your endearing personality, it's double special.

@@KellyTaylorCards thanks! I’ll give it a try:)
I'm curious about the Sketchmarkers. I thought they were a type of Copic. When I click on your 2 links for them, they don't work.
Hmm I'm not sure why. I tried them and they worked for me. A firewall or something maybe?
did you say Eric is only turning 30?
Girl. Yes. 🤣😭
