True saying you can go back in time is like saying you can glue back together a shattered glass vase (without reheating or remolding) Time is but a rate at which events happen in relation to another its not a place to travel, its just a way to quantify events in relation to another. You can't undo things, we can as he said (move faster thus moving into events that would happen further into the chain if you will) like hypersleep and what not and wake up in the futurre or skipped lots of events. But no past is a no no cause its just stupid really even to consider.
This is some shit related to the butterfly effect. When you go to the past and kick a rock, The bicycle passing by would trip and that could be your dad as a news paper boy. Everything in the world is connected.
Actually travelling in the past is the past for people living in that time you would still be in your future! And even if you change something by travelling in the past i think you are not going to vanish since your future self already exists.... Maybe I didn't make any sense! LOL 😆
Time-traveling will just create alternative timelines. Nothing will happen to you if you go to the past and prevent your parents from meeting each other. There will be another time line where you don't exist, But it won't affect the timeline where you originally traveled from.
I never knew about this until last night. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the sink, and when I came to I had a revelation! A vision! A picture in my head!
If any of you are wondering, the way we can travel into the future is by going around the earth at speeds near the speed of light and coming back down and it’s like a 1:12 ratio (1 month to 1 year) or some similar ratio for how much you travel forward in time
One thing I noticed about the concept of time machines is how they require you to enter a certain date and whatnot. But the universe technically doesn’t follow the calendar, it’s just something that humans made to measure time.
There is no time at all, but we perceive it. So maybe not a cheese clock but definitely we can build a measurement that shows where you are relative in time as measured for your senses.
this is right but also the human nature might not react the same way going back, its like a gumball machine, its not gonna be the same gumball each time due to various implications meaning if you go back or anyone goes back you may not be born or be the same, due to human nature not being strictly one sighted
@@liashizz What the guy in the video means is that time moves slower the faster you move. So if you are moving very fast, your body ages slower than the rest of the universe. Thats what he means by travelling into the future
The faster you move relative to the speed of light, the slower time passes around you. The people around you will experience things faster relative to you. Hence, you essentially time travel forward.
Like faster than light travel is impossible because it could break Causality. If a planet sent out a signal, then a ship moving faster than light intercepted it and sent a signal back telling the planet to turn off its transmitter, the message from the ship would reach the planet before the planet sent out the initial message. Therefore breaking causality
It's always cool to imagine what if we actually can do a time travel through the future. But not the past, bc honestly you will eventually cause a time paradox with someone/something that already existed. You have a chance to mess around and it will results differently in the future It's still cool though
My current thought process is that either he's completely right and time travels isn't possible or it's possible go back in time but you can only observe things without changing it. Any attempt to change the past will simply fail.
and what if you can change things but not in your reality. that you can encounter yourself, if you go back in time but never in your own reality. but in an alternate universe.
@@aultmanfilms4590 From a certain point of view yes but it is not the same away. Time travelling means jumping in a specific time and place in the future or past possibly in a different timeline assuming that there is a law of physics that prevents you from jumping in the same timeline so as not to kill your past self or your parents which means that you seize to exist. On the other hand, time inversion involves a person moving backwards in the same timeline with inverted entropy. Here's an example. Assume that you are in 2022 and you want to go back to 1980. With time travelling you can jump to 1980 in an instant while with time inversion you have to stay inverted for 42 years in order to reach 1980
To be fair, it doesn't work in movies either There's always some sort of paradox being ignored for the sake of the plot Like back to the future when Biff steals a sports magasine and goes back to the past and gives it to himself and becomes a millionare In that case, future Biff would just be a millionare and not the version of himself who was desperate to steal the magasine and so nobody would've came back to past Biff to give it to him..... True saying you can go back in time is like saying you can glue back together a shattered glass vase (without reheating or remolding)
Time is but a rate at which events happen in relation to another its not a place to travel, its just a way to quantify events in relation to another. You can't undo things, we can as he said (move faster thus moving into events that would happen further into the chain if you will) like hypersleep and what not and wake up in the futurre or skipped lots of events. But no past is a no no cause its just stupid really even to consider.

Just a single second going back in the past would alter everyone’s life good it bad
Only time I've been proud of the comment section, so many back to the future references
We're all time travellers riding the cosmic waves.
Indeed, sadly 99% of humans are too busy to pay attention to such things, doesn't matter anyway though
I will never believe that it's possible..unless it is done
This is some shit related to the butterfly effect. When you go to the past and kick a rock, The bicycle passing by would trip and that could be your dad as a news paper boy. Everything in the world is connected.
I’m so happy that my theory that I told my physics teacher who was making jokes about time travel just got said by Niel word for word, I feel complete
But nothing that was said here is new and has been common knowledge in the scientific community for quite a while.
Either way, good job!
@@ixiNOVA what I meant I was that I’m proud for having figured it out myself and then gotten confirmation from this video
@@zawarudo4459 Great job! Science is fascinating.
Actually travelling in the past is the past for people living in that time you would still be in your future!
And even if you change something by travelling in the past i think you are not going to vanish since your future self already exists.... Maybe I didn't make any sense! LOL 😆
@@punomboro3941 makes sense but that’s what Neil is saying. Science math says yes, science law says no.
This is the amount of confusion i need to sleep at night

lol I felt the same way….oh damn I have to go to work now
It is the Purest truth about destiny...
When you go to the future and come back from the future.. it means that the future is your past
Which cannot be changed by your new future..
You can't come back from the future, that's the point.
The flux capacitor!!
1.21 gigawatts!
Or maybe you fell in the toilet and mistook a shit for a revelation
Who knows
Visit different time zones and feel this
If any of you are wondering, the way we can travel into the future is by going around the earth at speeds near the speed of light and coming back down and it’s like a 1:12 ratio (1 month to 1 year) or some similar ratio for how much you travel forward in time
One thing I noticed about the concept of time machines is how they require you to enter a certain date and whatnot. But the universe technically doesn’t follow the calendar, it’s just something that humans made to measure time.
There is no time at all, but we perceive it. So maybe not a cheese clock but definitely we can build a measurement that shows where you are relative in time as measured for your senses.
The future is a dream; the past a memory; the present is a gift.
The present is more like a horror at this point in my life
The present is the only eternal truth

If by any chance you travel to the past make sure your parents assist to the Enchantment under the sea prom dance.

This is heavy....
this is right but also the human nature might not react the same way going back, its like a gumball machine, its not gonna be the same gumball each time due to various implications meaning if you go back or anyone goes back you may not be born or be the same, due to human nature not being strictly one sighted

This is where barry allen comes into the scene “u can definitely travel to the future if you move faster then anyone else”
I thought if you go faster then light
@@liashizz What the guy in the video means is that time moves slower the faster you move. So if you are moving very fast, your body ages slower than the rest of the universe. Thats what he means by travelling into the future
@@yoloschnitzel815 I thought 💀😂
@Lina Sharif well yes
You do need to move faster than light since you need to be faster than everything
@@liashizz
No, you just need to move.
The faster you move relative to the speed of light, the slower time passes around you. The people around you will experience things faster relative to you. Hence, you essentially time travel forward.
Whatever changes you make in the past would just make a new timeline/dimension
Like faster than light travel is impossible because it could break Causality. If a planet sent out a signal, then a ship moving faster than light intercepted it and sent a signal back telling the planet to turn off its transmitter, the message from the ship would reach the planet before the planet sent out the initial message. Therefore breaking causality
Imagine if we have the ability to time travel someday. We would wake up to a different reality everyday
It's always cool to imagine what if we actually can do a time travel through the future. But not the past, bc honestly you will eventually cause a time paradox with someone/something that already existed. You have a chance to mess around and it will results differently in the future
It's still cool though
Yes and that is the movement of the earth from where it once was or the right calculation to pinpoint the location of travel
That or a Pratchettesque "trouser legs of time" scenario where changes in one timeline cause another timeline. A bit like Marvel's multiverse.
It just creates a different timeline. I like how DBZ did time travel.
That’s just one theory. If you follow Harry Potter or TENETs time traveling logic, it’s all one set timeline.
@@aultmanfilms4590 Tenet is time inversion not time travel. You basically invert your entropy and move backwards in the same timeline
@@generalkenobi9473 you’re still technically traveling through time
@@aultmanfilms4590 From a certain point of view yes but it is not the same away.
The grandfather, Paradox is perfect for what he is saying
“So Back to the Future Isn’t real”
-Antman
Traveling to the past likely only works that way on TV and in movies.
To be fair, it doesn't work in movies either
There's always some sort of paradox being ignored for the sake of the plot
Like back to the future when Biff steals a sports magasine and goes back to the past and gives it to himself and becomes a millionare
In that case, future Biff would just be a millionare and not the version of himself who was desperate to steal the magasine and so nobody would've came back to past Biff to give it to him..... And so on...
