I'm new to POE, I have tried playing the last few leagues but have quit by act 3, it has always just seem overly complicated since its such an established game and I have felt overwhelmed but I just found your channel and your easy to understand pobb and I think I may be able to actually enjoy the game for a change. thank you
Cane of Kulemak was a good idea, I hadn't even thought of it. Helped me get my Dex/Int squared away until I get a better staff, which won't be for a while anyway. Cheers
I'm not fan of the Slayer, so I went Cyclone + Shockwave Champion for my league starter (SSF). It feels amazing without the need to stop and drop totems. The ship brought me a good two-handed mace on Act 3 so I immediately went spinning from that point on. Damage was solid and consistent, super fun and a breeze to progress. In Act 8, the ship brought me a 5-link maelstrom staff with good increased physical and chaos resistances, so I went for it and I'm still trying to get an upgrade over that weapon. To anyone still in doubt to what league start, Spin to Win is amazing. I wouldn't put it past working with other ascendancies as well - Berserker, Juggernaut, even Warden.
@@user-ne2zx3nd2k in previous leagues/patches, melee builds basically required you used totems on single target for good damage. This latest patch they got rid of totems and buffed skills to compensate
Two questions, what is the 3rd skill on your bard and where you getting it from? Also what is the name of the belt you will be grinding the cards for? I could not make it from hearing it O.o Thanks!
3rd skill is Focused. Focused is an ability you get when you have an affix crafted on your gear that say deals double damage while focused. I was grinding cards for Rysalatha's Coil.
Love this build, but I'm POE noob and this is just my 3th build. And I'm struggling to understand the endurance thing. How do you get more endurance charges ? with the potions ?

I got pride, determination, blood and sand but I cannot fit flesh and stone in there. How did you do it? I have the same mana nodes on the tree as you have.
What level did you switch to crit at? I think your PoB SAS 90 but I’m low 80s and looking for damage boost, plus I’m just antsy to get into final form and stop buying temporary gear etc

I have multiple loadouts built into the POB, if you go to the top center of POB you'll see a Loadouts drop down left of the Slayer Ascendancy, you can select my different build variations there.
Hi, friend. I bought celestial brace gloves, they are supposed to give Fortify, but they don't, because a whirlwind is an attack, not a punch. Maybe I don't understand something?)
We don't use them to get Fortify, we get that from Overlord from the Large Cluster jewel on our skill tree. We use the gloves because they give +10 to fortification (more defense) and also scale increased attack speed 1% per fortify.
Also, quick question: how much did you pay for that large cluster? Seems pretty expensive and I'd like to be able to start using my levels there, but cheapest one I've found is like 20 div
The one I'm using in-game at the moment I crafted, it just has Overlord. Spammed alterations on the base until I hit the mod. That's the main one we need early on, to drop the fortify on melee hit wheel on the skill tree. We can get the optimized version later on when we have currency.

Most of these that are important are uniques or purchased via trade board. The ring was made by getting a warlord influenced ring then just repeating alteration orbs until he found curse.

Hmm, I don’t have enough mana with the crit conversion tree and that’s with -7 on both rings and mana clusters. Is there an aura I should drop until I can afford a lvl 3 enlighten?
Not sure how that’s possible I have a paua ring with -8 total mans costs and the tree nodes and I don’t use any mana at all I got ring from a drop in white maps Worth like 1 c Altho mine is a max roll
I spammed alts on the large cluster jewel base until I hit Overlord (about 300-400 alts). I'll buy a min/maxed one later, the most important thing is getting Overlord early on with any other damage notables.
nice build , but i dont get it how to cap block spell dmg , im ussing versatile combatant , same tree without cluster for now but my overcaped block attack is only 67 so spell dmg is at29

We take axe nodes early on when we are lvling, when we switch to Cyclone we reinvest the points elsewhere. There are different trees in the POB for the different stages of the leveling process.
Yea try to get one with just Overlord, or spam alts on a base until you hit Overlord. That's the most important thing on the cluster jewel, if you get the others that's great too.

@@kakashidemo You can spec into the +30 Int nodes on the passive tree until you can equip the staff, the spec out of them ;)

I just swapped today at 89-90, could’ve done sooner but I invested div more in defense (stormshroud etc)

Would you say this build is SSF friendly on the gearing side? Kinda wanted to try cyclone again, but i fear it'll be hard to upgrade the gear
The normal Cyclone gem is SSF friendly, but getting The Stampede in SSF is going to be really hard, very rare drop from Blights.

I prefer the 1 skill point for bandits myself, we can get resistance other ways (gear, skill tree).
I love blight and ritual but they kill my pcs performance. Any suggestion to manage frame rate or alternative mechanics that don’t destroy my fps?

Do you make use of the double damage while focused? Isnt focus an extra button never understood that
Yes, it adds an extra button to your hot bar, I use it on bosses or tough rares, like War Banner, it’s a big damage boost

How did you link your weapon? I know tricks to do it, but none of them are working r,r,r,r,g,g is hard to get on strength, int staff....
My 6L is on my chest, way easier to color. Also, I don’t put it in my weapon because I upgrade that more frequently

You can pick up stat nodes on the skill tree that give +30 Int, but also look for it on your rings and amulets.

Make sure to follow my POB and video, make sure you are following all the defensive suggestions I mention.
At level 70 you should be getting into block. Your gear should have you res capped and life on all pieces can now roll over 100. At 90 I'm at 5k life

Yes it doesn’t exist and you can’t roll those mods either

Sometime in the 80s when you have the points to go into Crit on the skill tree, and also when you can grab an Abyssus.

We don't, at least looking at my POB for all versions of the build. Definitely need Impale support, otherwise we sit at 45% chance.
