- The Dragon Master along with his manager, Christopher Love(Bert Prentice) debut with a cheesy video and interview. He comes out in a casket like Undertaker. Dragon Master lasted about a month before leaving the territory. He feuded with Jerry Lawler.
The Dragon Master should've tag teamed with Ta-Gar Lord Of The Volcano. It would've been epic!

I remember that dragon mask for sale at Spencer's Gifts. I also remember Christopher Love managing Tully Blanchard in the old SCW.
The mask was made by Illusive Concepts.

In all seriousness, Lawler’s approach was actually pretty clever for the limited resources he had to work with. Between facing off with serious wrestlers like Bobby Eaton or Harley Race, he’d roll out these over the top “monsters” to fill the gaps and keep the audience’s attention. That said, it doesn’t make the likes of The Dragon Master or TaGar Lord of the Volcano any less hilarious.

remember seeing this guy on a Japanese wrestling tape for the W*ING promotion where monster characters got over .Wouldn't be surprised that this charcter was short lived after that .

no it was actually this character from USWA .he was featured on a w*ING tape against Shoji Nakamaki .Don't remember the name of the tape but will look it up and verify it .
@banner74 on second thought it might be Ron Reis who was in WCW on a few occasions as The Yeti,Super Ninja and was in Raven's Flock as Reese.

Jerry was a big fan of comic books and he drank a lot of coca cola, that's what you get when you mix comics and sugar rushes.

Johnny Rotten eh, we’ve all done stupid things for a paycheck. I will say Lawler’s tactic of using these weird monster characters to maintain fan interest when he wasn’t working with prominent opponents like Harley Race or others was clever. But it produced some wacky shit.

Christopher Love was horrible. Bush league guys like that really show you how even the lamest WWE/WCW manager at the time was still competent and understood his character. Guys like Love do lame shit like saying "honey" 67 times in a 3 minute promo in lieu of a real character.
