The status is The Fisher of Dreams. It's on the old swing bridge that used to carry the main train line to London. It is now a cycle path, part of the Trans Pennine Trail, hence you see an angled 'catching a train', and the dog piddling on the bike. This symbolises the current use of the area; fishing, cycling and dog walking.
I came up the tidal ouse from Selby lock on July the 30th and the debris was horrific, it doesnt look so bad on your vlog, i guess we must have had some heavy rain that flushed a lot of it out by the time you came up. An early start for you that morning 7.45am when the lock keeper let us through. Seasons greeting to you and your good lady.
Yes I don’t think it was too bad in September Eric. Some say it’s worse below Cawood as it often turns with the tide before going much further ? Thank you,and a merry Christmas to you and your family too

Great, as expected. What a variety of boats…..
Thanks Nick
Yeah, I suppose being a wide deep river you tend to get a real mix of crafts
