Such an entertaining time with you both! The story with the fish then the neighbour getting shut in the shed. Life is never dull with you two. Thank you for brightening my day.

Another engaging “half hour” with you two. I can’t decide which of the stories was funnier - Arne buying enough fish for six months or the neighbour stuck in the trash palace!!! It is so good to have a laugh these days. The houndstooth pattern on the vintage cushion project is amazing. I would never have thought of that!!! ❤️ from 🇨🇦

OMG I'm laughing so hard at the garbage story because this also happened to me! I live in a condo (in So. Burlington, Vermont) and one day I was putting the garbage and recycling in the shed provided when a big gust of wind came and the door slammed shut and there was no way to open it from the inside. Luckily there are windows with screens on the shed so I started screaming bloody murder and very quickly a nice man came by and let me out. So embarrassing -- but funny!

We got a new dog. Because our old one died two weeks ago. And when your Knit for a bit is on its time for walking with her. She reminds us of Freja. She is very energetic and she is called Jilly. So we have to watch you later. I adore your poodles. Especially the pink one. I am sure the other two will be as cute when they are finished. What a story about your neighbour lady! And the fish Arne bought. Laughing. I know a person who would do similar things like Arne did, I imagine he would exactly the same in that situation. Thanks for making the start of my day so bright with your wonderful stories. Looking forward to watch the eggs knitting stories.

These sit and knit videos are hilarious. I can’t even knit but I have decided that I must learn so I can take part. The story about the neighbour brought tears to my eyes. I can’t decide if it’s better for strangers to use your bins for rubbish or the back of your palace for a toilet! Have you thought about using a hook for the palace door so it can’t blow shut? That’s what we use on our allotment shed.

I love the houndstooth pattern. I remember the first sewing pattern I made was for a dress for my little sister. It was black and white houndstooth, and we both loved the way it turned out.
I totally sympathize with the trash problem. Around here, there are some people who just throw their trash out of the car windows as they ride by, and it ends up at the edge of our yard. Our garbage men wouldn't pick it up either, so many times I - or my husband - will have to walk out and pick it up and discard or recycle. Argghhhh! Our young grandchildren get upset and want us to do SOMETHING, but what is there to do . . . just clean it up. That's better than screaming in the garage palace, ha ha!
And, the fish story had me howling!

When I was a little girl, I remember my mother doing needlepoint (what you are calling embroidery). She would purchase "commenced needlepoint". That means someone has already done the picture in the middle, such as the flowers on the project you just showed us, and you would purchase yarn to do the background. It was easy to needlepoint: no pattern or color changes, just a simple stitch in one color. Very calming.

Love hearing ur stories. Ur neighbor stuck in the little house, always prop the door open. Arnie laughing, made me laugh just watching him. Keep up with stories, enjoyable. Ty

In America I think the fish you described is called a big mouth bass.
This video was too funny. I love the "garbage palace" story. I had to stop what I was doing to wipe the tears from laughing. Arne the hound tooth background is just gorgeous! I have finished two of those flower needlepoint from my box full of UFO's I bought and have two more to to. I might have to do that pattern on the next two. You inspire me. I am cross stitching a Christmas table cloth out of that box of stuff, so instead of knitting Easter balls I will listen an finish that.
Carlos you as Freja is a good analogy. Love you both for doing these videos. The balls at the end are beautiful.

Oh, Arne, the houndstooth with the rescued embroidery is gorgeous! I have to admit , when you first desrubed it, I couldn't "see" it. Guess that's why you and Carlos are the artistic designers that you are!

Your stories are fabulous. I am having a hard time drinking my oolong tea because I'm laughing so much! The trash palace story is priceless. Maybe instead of a 3rd lock a latch that attaches to the building might work to keep the door open. Oh my, fish for months! You could write a cookbook. Six months of fish dinners. The houndstooth on the roses will be beautiful. I haven't seen poodles like those you knitted in many years. They are adorable.

i watched your decision making for the background of Arne's UFO petit point thrift find and was appalled. Today when I saw the ongoing project I was amazed. Thank you so much for opening my eyes. I love you two. From 🇨🇦

Last Sit and Knit you mentioned, Arne, that you might do hounds tooth on the needlepoint. I had trouble picturing it. I was amazed today when you revealed it....how very beautiful. The contrast between the two patterns is fantastic It was fun to sit and knit and listen to you both today. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Always a pleasure spending time with you guys! Looking forward to knitting some new eggs for Easter! Woo Hoo!!
Went to the Merch page on your website, and saw that you have lots of new stuff! I must've missed the memo about that, but it's all sorted and will be on its way soon enough. Love the new design with Helmer in the family pic now. ❤️ and the mask fabric design is super fun! 😷
The 'Trash Palace' story was very good. Your poor neighbor 😂 Glad it all worked out okay in the end.
Thanks for sitting and knitting, or should I say 'spinning a yarn' (telling a story) with us. Love it!
Much love to you all and give the doggies some love for us. ❤️🐶🐶

Arne, I am so in love with the UFO you are working on , the hounds tooth design sets off the flowers in such a posh way. I laughed until I cried over the neighbor lady getting locked in the garbage palace.

Hello guys! The 'Garden Mouse' is adorable! Well, so are the poodles! Oh my, just charming! When you talk about washing them, is that before you stuff them? What fun to have a Freya size knitted poodle. Eeek, dreamy! How about a huge Helmer wool poodle? Nice to watch you this week. Happy to hear all of you are well.🤗
