This is great. I am 54 years old and I’ve gone through some shit and I’m loving my Life these days. You called it. I wish I had access to this 30 years ago, but I still got “here”. I’d add that changing/growth fucking hurts sometimes and you have to ride it out and believe that it will get better BECAUSE it really is about your attitude and you’re attitude is how you think and act. Keep up the great work. Your game is vast and I hope people are paying attention.
Emotional maturity is when you look left, and then right before crossing the street then get knocked down by an airplane. Wake up, dust off and walking away like nothing just happend.

Thank you ALUX, Kings of #freegame. Some signs of emotional maturity in my thinking are: 1. Accepting that you can't force success or change onto people no matter how much you love them. 2. Ability to stay focused on lifetime goals and not get sidetracked by the "tasty treats" life inevitably offers. 3. Not self-destrucing due to personal turmoil (emotionally mature people know that alcohol, pills, sexcapades etc don't erase the pain / reality of whatever may have taken place no matter how tragic it may be, and they use them responsibly or not at all). 4. Emotionally mature people are averse to shortcuts because they know that nothing good ever came easy or overnight. 9 Minutes 29 seconds in🥰 One of the signs of emotional maturity is when a personal relationship has ended❌️ understand it's over. ‼️💯 Please by all means do not misunderstand what it is I'm saying. Sometimes when a person feels something is over it's not always necessarily over. But we have to be mature enough to know when you're at the point that is actually over 👌Over mean over!‼️Move on with your life and never want someone after they've STOPED wanting you.‼️👍💯 Some people are meant to be in our lives for a reason a season or lifetime. 👌Our job is to know the difference in any relationship regardless of it being personal or professional👍 Remember you're better than that‼️💯🥰🥰🥰
Number 16 is fucking relatable. At first i used get annoyed when i was with people who are not as grown up as i wish them to be. But afterwards one of my friend make me understand that this is natural. There is nothing wrong in it.
The ultimate sign of emotional maturity is Contentment. Being content in whatever state you find yourself in. That doesn't mean you don't aspire for more, but it means instead that you don't fret when you fail not boast when you succeed. But, have constant and continous joy and hope wherever you find yourself. Contentment.
Right on time ... thanks alux.. you inspired me to start up a company.. I did .. from Nigeria, a student pharmacist based in cyprus.. I know and believe alux will one day discuss my bussines success ..
Alux.com pls can you do a video on what early innovators expects after starting up in life how to handle hard times on the process... I feel it will help 🙏🏽🙏🏽
1. Emotionally mature person gives everyone a chance 2. A mature person won't judge that easily and doesn't let their prejudice influence their relationships
To me another one may be " even after rejected or ignored by near and dear not showing any anger or disrespect to them rather appreciate their good qualities"
you learn to forgive even without receiving an apology. bec in the end, forgiving is all about freeing yourself (of burdens) & not the person who wronged you.
15:57 Wow last few years have been about me practicing #12 and that has made such a MASSIVE difference I can't even say. When you purge your heart of all anger, resentment, hate then you can grow and find peace.

Know, that many don’t have the same definition for words, words are a label for a concept. If one’s reply you get doesn’t fit with your statement, their is a chance that they didn’t hear correctly or have different meaning for a word or words you used. If are unable to get them to tell you what they > understood, < and NOT > what you said < and there is a big difference between the two concepts. Wish to know what they understood you to say. If you can’t get them to tell their understanding and becomes argument over what you said, they to INSIST to tell you what you said, then minimize your involvement with them, unless like drama.
Hello Alux I love number 15 growing up I tell myself to keep happy no matter what and no mackup. Mackup would be if I'm going to a special event. Then I texted you the amount of death I am experiencing 2012 to this year and I got a reply from you. It push me to keep moving. More deaths after but I chose to keep happy. All sickness and or age they die from. The part in another one you did. " It's the money not the dream" push me each day.. And my dad say: the less you put a blame on something or someone it's better for you. Alux, thanks for your reply you gave me then. I love this community, it's not easy to find deep thinkers to talk with. I forgot to add when you stay or keep happy or don't make things bother you.. you look younger when you get older
I don’t understand how someone can disagree with me, when they can’t tell me accurately what my point is. They don’t have to respond with same words, however the basic meaning of their reply must convey the same meaning; and if they refuse to tell their understanding, or if insist to tell me what I mean that not okay; it great if say “tell me again “ or “please explain” or I didn’t understand .... I didn’t get .... this reply say they wish to understand and care. If they don’t wish to tell their understanding, know you have a problem with this person, regardless how little the subject matter is. If refuse to respond on a little thing, how will they be on a big thing? I don’t know how one can disagree, when they don’t know my point, or are unable or refuse to tell their understanding? Not to tell their understanding, is disrespectful. Plus shows no desire to communicate, period.
Emotional maturity is when you can live in the present, neither focused on bad experiences in the past, even those that happened just 1 second prior nor worrying about the future. As the saying goes Yesterday is but a dream Tomorrow is but a vision But every well-lived today Makes every Yesterday a dream of happiness And every tomorrow a vision of hope You can't control what had happened nor what will happen, what you have control of is the actions you are taking in this moment that will create the future and the "past" to come. You will be depressed if you live in the past, for you are re-enacting what will not happen again. You will be anxious if you live in the future, for you are anticipating for what has not happened. Being in the present is where you have the greatest control. - Mel Robbins Appreciating the little things in life helps as well. 9:22 "you understand that other people can't read your mind."
Another sign of emotional maturity is knowing when to shut up and when to fire your guns. It's one thing to be calm, and another to be brave. Both are qualities of a mature mind. This is a very insighful vid tho. I'd def watch it again to keep my emotional health in check.
Another 2 point: 1. "When you can differentiate between things as controllable and uncontrollable, especially when the lines are blurry" 2. "Fighting for the vision rather than getting lost in competition"
Erudite, You understand that emotions are contagious, thus you influence people through the emotions they think are theirs when in reality they are just being contagied by what you intentionally show.
One more sign we are emotionally mature is we practice delayed gratification. We wait patiently for what we want while waiting we prepare for what we want such as a romantic relationship.
I didn't get a word at 9 minutes, 29 seconds. Went back three different times. I would add Being able to suppress, redirect, and rewire emotions in peak point situations . Appreciate you guys.
ERUDITE. Emotional maturity means you understand that you can't control life or the people around you, but you can control how you react and respond to these things. The ultimate emotional maturity comes with compassion and empathy for others.
Erudite. I think 3 signs of emotional maturity is that you're not afraid of failure, you're not afraid of failure and are able to understand that it is a precursor to success. And you also understand that you are not perfect but a work in progress, you may never attain "perfection", you will achieve excellence. You also understand that beauty and success is subjective, you are not swayed by the media and what seems to be the most popular definition of success, but instead, you figure out what these mean to you and live accordingly.
A sign I believe of emotional maturity is coming to the realization that you can pick your stresses and everyone else’s life outcomes are your responsibility . Not everything is worth getting into an ordeal over, shape your own perspective and continue to pursue the path of success that suits you.
"You understand that other people can't read your mind." And I will add that a person is emotionally mature when he or she is aware that one day we'll all die and that the time to have a good life is now. He or she do everything to have a meaningful, balanced, and valuable life because the time to live is now.
Erudite... here's another one: You can shift out of highly emotional moments on demand just by shifting your focus from what is causing that emotion to something that makes you feel more calm. If you can master that, then the people who think they can control you by pushing your buttons are suddenly rendered powerless. That is emotional maturity.
Shown at 9 minutes 29 seconds I do understand that other people can’t read my mind 🙏 I believe another sign of emotional maturity is our accountability to the discipline we apply to achieving our goals in life.
"Erudite" The creators of this video demonstrate their emotional erudition throughout the signs. An additional one may be: distinguishing when to use previous experiences to wisely assess situations, and when to relegate them to the status of bad memories (so that they don't impact your ability to take calculated risks and decide to be happy).
Shown at 9 minutes, 29 secs. Having put a brave face on for most of my life, I see the value in Respecting others. And building your Reserves with Kindness and Compassion.
I keep revisiting this. Thank you soo much Alux for this video. If u release a premium edition on emotional maturity, count me in. It's one very good skills not taught in school among others.
Being able to forgive ourselfs is a huge masive challenge when it comes to about emotional maturity. Not saying is imposible though. ERUDITE was the word on the screen. Thank you for this material!

Never lie to yourself.

Emotional maturity is taking time to acknowledge your feelings without indulging them.

This comment carries a lot of weight. Couldn’t have said it better.
Emotional maturity is when your emotions grow a white beard
I think “exploiting” your feelings is what’s to be avoided; not indulging in them is to deny what makes you human.
Great one.
#1- you choose your words carefully before you respond.
#2- you understand how you feel and can read that into other people.
#3- you appreciate the little things in life.
#4- you know when to quit and when to keep pushing.
#5- your mind is no longer a dark or chaotic place.
#6- you take feedback constructively instead of personally.
#7- you understand that other people can't read your life
#8- you admit when you are wrong and take responsibility.
#9- When you're ok with being vulnerable.
#10- you expose yourself to the opposite point of view
#11- your decision is based on your experience not on others' opinions.
#12- you forgive your parents.
#13- you are aware of your limitations and biases.
#14- you know when who and how to ask help.
#15- you understand that happiness is a choice and not a destination
"Decisions are made from your experience not by others opinions." this is a valuable thing I learnt today.
The sign to be added can be..
"To stop judging someone we don't know about."
Because it's only we seeing the other person's situation with our perspective.

One of the signs of emotional maturity is when a personal relationship has ended❌️ understand it's over. ‼️💯
Please by all means do not misunderstand what it is I'm saying. 👌Our job is to know the difference in any relationship regardless of it being personal or professional👍
Remember you're better than that‼️💯🥰🥰🥰
Sign #1: you don't look at UA-cam videos to validate your emotional maturity.
But Awesometastic video. Really enjoyed it!!!!
Number 16 is fucking relatable. At first i used get annoyed when i was with people who are not as grown up as i wish them to be. But afterwards one of my friend make me understand that this is natural. There is nothing wrong in it.
The ability to understand, set and respect boundaries.
Thank you. 👍 Not lacking. Just surrounded by jealous haters. Happens when you're great 💯✔
Thank you Alux, for another motivational video
You're very welcome Haritha
The ultimate sign of emotional maturity is Contentment. Being content in whatever state you find yourself in. That doesn't mean you don't aspire for more, but it means instead that you don't fret when you fail not boast when you succeed. But, have constant and continous joy and hope wherever you find yourself. Contentment.
“You understand that other people can’t read your mind”

Alux.com pls can you do a video on what early innovators expects after starting up in life how to handle hard times on the process... I feel it will help 🙏🏽🙏🏽
1. Emotionally mature person gives everyone a chance
2. A mature person won't judge that easily and doesn't let their prejudice influence their relationships
Knowing when, why and how some relationships can be good or bad for you.
To me another one may be " even after rejected or ignored by near and dear not showing any anger or disrespect to them rather appreciate their good qualities"
I still get upset when my Oreo drops in my milk buts that’s not on the list so 🙌🏼
When you acknowledged that success is an endless journey and not just a single destination...
Legend says that if Im early,Alux will comment this.🤔
Yes bro
The legend was right!
Very nice profile picture😁😃
Brilliant.
you learn to forgive even without receiving an apology. bec in the end, forgiving is all about freeing yourself (of burdens) & not the person who wronged you.
9:29 *"you understand that other people can't read your mind"*
*Me:- Do I deserve a heart and a reply from alux*
*Alux:- Nah 😕*
You got it wrong, try again.
@@alux is it this? *"ERUDITE"*
17. You accept that at the end nothing matters, just the change in your soul. (The emotions you give to other people)
“You understand that people can’t read your mind”
15:57 Wow last few years have been about me practicing #12 and that has made such a MASSIVE difference I can't even say.
When you purge your heart of all anger, resentment, hate then you can grow and find peace.

@@alux thank you alux lovely friend and I'll see you tomorrow ❤️💙difanately I'll come next year completely . it's sure alux friend ❤️💙(no issue alux friend.i con take it easy.i was meet plenty of insult in my life.and I never give up you and your channel up to particular year.its sure and I'm gonna sleep and I'll see you tomorrow .🙏)
"9:29" - ERUDITE right alux?
How are you guys commenting so fast? 😂
You're super early Sara! Always a great feeling seeing you in the comments!
Alux.com you always make me feel like a special snowflake on Sunday’s 😂🤗
As the saying goes
Yesterday is but a dream
Tomorrow is but a vision
But every well-lived today
Makes every
Yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope
You can't control what had happened nor what will happen, what you have control of is the actions you are taking in this moment that will create the future and the "past" to come.
You will be depressed if you live in the past, for you are re-enacting what will not happen again.
You will be anxious if you live in the future, for you are anticipating for what has not happened.
Being in the present is where you have the greatest control.
- Mel Robbins
Appreciating the little things in life helps as well.
Another 2 point:
1. "When you can differentiate between things as controllable and uncontrollable, especially when the lines are blurry"
A sign of emotional maturity is knowing that while your feelings are valid, they're just feelings.
The ability to talk to yourself in the hardest situation in a right way

When you learn [there's a time and a place for everything.] I've learned that everyone is more accepting of you when this rule is applied.
A sign I believe of emotional maturity is coming to the realization that you can pick your stresses and everyone else’s life outcomes are your responsibility . Not everything is worth getting into an ordeal over, shape your own perspective and continue to pursue the path of success that suits you.
Everything in my life has been happening for me, not to me, to motivate my spiritual maturity.
"You understand that other people can't read your mind." And I will add that a person is emotionally mature when he or she is aware that one day we'll all die and that the time to have a good life is now. He or she do everything to have a meaningful, balanced, and valuable life because the time to live is now.
1.Action have consequences
2. No one is wrong it's just different Opinions
3. People are who they are and will remain as they are
Erudite... here's another one: You can shift out of highly emotional moments on demand just by shifting your focus from what is causing that emotion to something that makes you feel more calm. If you can master that, then the people who think they can control you by pushing your buttons are suddenly rendered powerless. That is emotional maturity.
"You understand other people can't read your mind". Love you Alux
Shown at 9 minutes 29 seconds I do understand that other people can’t read my mind 🙏 I believe another sign of emotional maturity is our accountability to the discipline we apply to achieving our goals in life.
Emotional intelligence can be a great internal compass in many facets of this crazy thing we call "life".
Nice one Elle
Learning to not hold back the truth in times of fear. Necessary truthfulness in spite of backlash.
Shown at 9 minutes, 29 secs. Having put a brave face on for most of my life, I see the value in Respecting others. And building your Reserves with Kindness and Compassion.
No matter where you are in your life you always retain the humility to laugh at yourself. Take life seriously but never take yourself too seriously.
I keep revisiting this. Thank you soo much Alux for this video. If u release a premium edition on emotional maturity, count me in. It's one very good skills not taught in school among others.
Being able to forgive ourselfs is a huge masive
challenge when it comes to about emotional maturity. Not saying is imposible though. ERUDITE was the word on the screen. Thank you for this material!
This video is one of them that’s really talking to me. Listening to this I’m realizing I have some mental rebuilding to do.
The ability to keep calm in moments os pressure or dealing with the unknown can be a sign of emotional Maturity.
You can maintain a positive/close relationship with persons who have believes and values systems which are different from yours.
