    i definitly will not be buying one of those record players after watching Drodz mishandle it...

      But if you were traveling to someplace off-world where the gravity was significantly different than on Earth, one of these record players could be really useful. There would need to be some way to adjust the tension on the arm; some sort of variable spring tension apparatus. Then you could take all of your vinyl with you. No matter where in the universe you might be traveling to.
      I suppose you would be limited to three dimensional environments though.
      Ok. Forget it. I'll never buy one of these record players.
