New subscriber! 40 year old mother of 4, who just started her makeup journey about 3 or 4 years ago. Eyeshadow palettes are my favorite makeup item and hardest to stop buying and hardest to declutter, lol. You did an amazing job! Beautiful collection!❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed watching me struggle. 🤣 I obviously enjoy palettes too much, but I was happy how I was able to cut down my stash. There's still a lot here, but I really enjoy eye makeup. Thanks so much for subbing. 🥰
Last year I forced myself to get rid of a medium-sized box of mostly eyeshadow & other makeup, I gave it to my sister who absolutely loved that gift!! :) Congrats on editing your collection a little bit more! :)
I need to do better. Especially with my larger palettes. 😆 I'm letting my niece and kids go through my declutters. They'll really enjoy it. Thanks for watching today!
Beautiful collection! Lavande & Pistache are on my wishlist. I'm a fan of smaller palettes too, maybe because I remember when there really weren't palettes, just duos, trios & the occasional quad. If I have a preference, it's probably for mixed palettes, that have an equal measure of neutrals to color, mattes to shimmer, in general, and cooler more than warm.
Yes, like you I love and fondly remember the times before larger palettes. That's why I love these quads so much. I've been using Lavende and Pistache quite a lot this spring. They're lovely palettes.
New subscriber here! Love the declutters! I like to see palettes that I don’t own and see other opinions on those I do own. My collection is way to much but I just keep collecting 😮
Ohhhh ahhhh. There’s just something special about smaller eyeshadow palettes. I feel like we have really similar taste in makeup preference but totally different makeup aesthetics 😂😊 Really enjoying your decluttered series!
I love your makeup aesthetic, but I never could pull off your gorgeous looks. I'm more confident with a bold lip as opposed to a bold eye look. I'm wanting to make sure every time I reach for stuff, it's products that excite me. I don't want there to be any duds at all.
Viseart Praline is my favorite palette that I never saw coming. The tones are deceptively simple, but so perfectly calibrated to enhance my eye. It gives me “my eyes, but better” and I would definitely repurchase it if I ever lost it.
I should have gotten rid of more, but I couldn't manage to part with too much. The size is literally my favorite, and they bring me so much joy. I also got a lot of use out of this size. Thanks so much for watching today, and have a fabulous week.
Those size pallets are my favorites, they are easier for me to create a look, I’ll be getting some of those small ones from Viseart on their next sale.❤
I like little palettes as it gives me a chance to have a range of palettes as I have very limited space. My favourite at the moment is between Viseart chasmerie, Natasha Denona mini retro and Lisa Eldridge vega.
You're talking about some of my favorite palettes. I don't have the ND mini retro, but I've been eyeing it for a while. I need to use the Vega palette again. Doing this declutter reminded me of how many amazing palettes I have, and how under used they are. Thanks so much for watching today!
I frequently use the tape method to remove hard pan. With some really shimmery shades, it picks up a large amount of product. That’s when Io feel like I’m wasting. If it’s a really glittery shade, I will use a stiff brush to try and brush it off. Both work well, but I’m always trying to minimize the amount of product I throw away.
I was checking out the new palettes on Ulta's site, but I haven't purchased them yet. I'm not sure if I will. I'd love to know your thoughts on them. Especially if you have the earlier ones.
I'm moving in 2 weeks and one of the things I can't wait to do is set up my new makeup vanity and get a few more small bins to separate my palettes by size. 😊 right now they are just in drawers
