Hello How to desactivate the red led light ,flashing when the Blink aoutdoor camera disdfunctioning or has low battery,.... this red lightt flashing make the camera visible and vulnerable to be robbed. thanks for infomarion
I had the sync molecule thing and I did the usb drive in it and it wasn’t recorded clips I call blink support they said format the drive or get a new one and I did both and they still don’t work plz help if can
Depends on the amount of activity for said camera. If it's your front porch or back porch and bodies are in and out or doing yard work. Or kids out playing then no. I've yet to get those 2 locations to last longer than 3 to 4 months. Probably best to turn them off if you will have alot of activity going on that day. Still highly recommend these cameras over wired cameras. I just stay stocked on batteries for those 2 cameras and try to turn off motion when I don't need them to record and alert me. I have 5 cameras and my other 3 last alot longer but none last me 2 years, let alone 1 lol. I might get 5 to 6 months but to be fair I Iive off a busy street so passing traffic and people on foot can trigger them on and off. Not to mention all the local stray cats, wasps, flies, butterflies, windy shade from trees or even shadows from cars passing by as the sun sets or rising depending on the direction cameras are facing. 6:27
Can you give a link for your video for using without a subscription? I have a friend who recommended blink that doesn’t pay a subscription, but I know he’s had it for a few years, so I’m not sure if changes have been made to the system.
I noticed when you opened your app, all your cameras were displayed. How did you do that? My 3 cameras display is blue and I have to tap the play button to activate. That, and I can only view one camera at a time. Would I need a sync module for each camera?
Can you recommend a wire free camera that can be mounted on the door jam inside of a glass front door that will see thru the door? No audio needed just say and night vision and recording. Thanks!
I have four of these so to start, the batteries only last three months. Read the reviews. Initially, there was no problem but here it is, one year later and it doesn't list the clips in order by time measure. It also decides when it's going to record someone at my front door. On top of that they demand you have Amazon Prime and you pay a fee for each camera. What a waste
I wish there is another system!! These system is just not working for me! The door bell rings and sensors go off and there iS noone there!! Is so annoying and scary
Blink paid me 1 million dollars to do this video. Or maybe nothing. I'm going to say this as my good dead for the day - stop assuming something you know nothing about (also reducing your use of cap letters).
Did anyone else notice how they are boosting their five-star reviews with bots? I swear the one Stars reviews were through the roof and the five-star review list was 1/10 of the bracket. Now it's the opposit with five stars all across the board with one stars at 1/10 of the reviews. You can still go to the recent post and they're still getting bombarded by one star reviews yet its still number one🤔 Shady business tactics they make it unusable and forces you to subscription.
I have one and it’s total rubbish,It won’t connect to my new internet hub ,and customer service is a complete waste of time as they don’t respond . Never again will I buy one of these .
That camera has been reviewed by many. Terrible camera. V3 is better than v4. But either way, they are all terrible. Also, there are better cameras without subscription and with respect for nas recording.
I agree with you! This reviewer are been paid for to give good reviews ! These cameras are a pain… the door bell rings in the middle of the night and there is noone there!! The batteries ran out every 2 weeks. I live in the city and i go through so many batteries a month… is ridiculous! Is just a money pit!
I bought 4 outdoor blink cameras 3 years ago and still zero issues. I love them and still recommend them to anyone.
I wonder what model you have?
@@Kitearmy I just checked and I was wrong. It was 2.5 yrs ago and it was 3rd gen.
Still amazing - 2.5 years on the batteries :)@@DarksouIjah
@@Kitearmy No sorry. I only had to change the batteries but no issues with the cameras.
I average about 2 years on mine@@DarksouIjah

Settings on the camera led off
I am still using my outdoor blink cameras. They are still working great!😄
Love it - I finally moved to all blink - wow that is an improvement
subscription? On the other video you said no subscription is required with you get the sync module 2. What is it now?
I had the sync molecule thing and I did the usb drive in it and it wasn’t recorded clips I call blink support they said format the drive or get a new one and I did both and they still don’t work plz help if can
try a different brand of key - make sure that it is a common brand
Question, do the batteries really last for 2 years? and what is the the "USB" port for? thanks for the good info.
USB port is to plug in a external power source - like a solar panel
Absolutely not!!!
@@Kitearmy thanks for the good info
@@marymartinelli9345 so, do you think 1 year+ or - ?

you can use without subscription - it is an add on - use the link above

I like mine. Have 3 outdoor cameras, and 6 in door cameras. No problems.
Can't beat the price!
Great videos! For local storage on the Blink system. Can you plug in a hard drive instead of thumb drive? Thanks!
not all usbs are supported

not many cameras work well through a glass window
I have the blink 3, anyone know why it records 15 second clips when its set to record 60 seconds? Also using ac power not battery.
you can extend the record time
Can I use different brands of security cameras like Eufy and Blink at the same time under the same home wifi? Thanks!
yes

Do you have to use a wfi password
yes - that is a good thing
Can Blink Outdoor camera be used indoor?
yes

lower the sensitivity of the cameras
I was with you up till you said subscription.
Yeah - I actually have a video of how to not pay subscription but it is not convenient
Run
@@Kitearmywhat do you mean it’s not convenient? I saw your other video and you said it was okay
WHY HAVE YOU NOT DISCLOSE THAT YOU ARE DOING COMMERCIAL FOR BLINK !!! HOW MUCH ARE YOU PAID BY BLINK ?

Get Adt.
Will never own anything Blink again. Warranry wasn't honored, and their cameras are junk and didn't last long.
So what brand do you think is better?
@Kitearmy I haven't decided still researching.
Avoid Nest cameras - have to recharge them every month@@shanew7361
😮
Totally agreed. Waste of money

Eufy
I have tested some Eufy cameras - not bad but they are really large

Perhaps, but do they fit the affordability, simplicity, and reliability criteria outlined here? And which cameras?
Yes you can get one with a NVR - but what happens if your house is on fire or floods - gone!
