He has seriously trained many different singing styles and that makes him able to pick almost any song and do the sound that tha song needs, and when he does a low growling scream I can understand the words clearly. First of all, it's your channel and you have every right to react in the way you are most comfortable with. Thank you for reacting to this one. I think it does show off most of Dan's vocal skills and makes the song very interesting. One of my favorites of his is the cover of the Disney Mulan song,, I'll Make a Man Out of You. It is a lot of fun and features some surprise cameos. He also puts a metal spin on it and the high notes you are anxious to hear are in abundance. Also, his beautiful Amazing Grace with just the right metal to make it a very powerful song. All of his Nightwish covers are wonderful also, as well as his covers of songs from the Witcher series: Toss a Coin to Your Witcher, Burn Butcher Burn, Song of the White Wolf and Priscilla's Song (metal cover). Sorry for the overload but now you have lots of options. I enjoyed it and look forward to more.

You should definitely check out his version of "Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera. Also his duet cover of "Kiss By A Rose" is amazing! "Burn Butcher Burn" from the Witcher & "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar. To see his more humorous side check out "Pour Some Sugar On Me". Also his version of "The Star Spangled Banner" & his "apology" after it. Have fun!!!!!!

I've always loved Billy Boyd's original, but Dan's emotional rendition is just next level, in my humble opinion. I suppose the fact that he recorded it a month or so after his father passed away, just gives it a bit more of a heart tug and made it more personal for him. Dan can inject emotions into music, in a way that few people can.
