I am hoping to do potatoes in pots too so I can put in the poly later. My kale is not happy with the heat but I will sow more if you say so 🤭. 😂😂 I’m the same I can only eat so many salads even in the summer. Perhaps I need to look into smoothies 🤔. Have a super week Glen, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Hi Ali, that sounds like a plan 👌 think we have your heat wave at the moment so everything is cooking 🤣 seed starting in this heat is always a challenge. I tend to start them off indoors where it's cooler. 🙏🌱
Glen, I’ve had a email from Marshals about Christmas potatoes that you sow at the end of July and they are ready for Christmas. I was thinking I could put these in my second early potato tubs that will be harvested by then. Have you any experience of doing this and would it be worth a go? Thanks Pete.
I go with tubs or bags because I can move them around, if its hot ill stick in the shade, and can move if it becomes to wet in autumn. But go late and do a few timings.
