Thank you, Heather! This is the clearest, most comprehensive description of modern quilting I have heard anywhere. In seems most people are afraid to actually articulate what "modern quilting" is, lest it be seen as 'better than' or otherwise offend another group. As a result, it is really hard for a novice like me to understand the design principles. Your explanation of the elements made so much sense, and I feel like now I really 'get' what modern is. Wonderful video!!

I doubt it. When you see a painting at a museum, it doesn't have instructions on the back. These are unique and signature quilts. Not to be copied.
