Not imcompetence, but cowardice. You can hear their voices shaking when they are talking. They sound like an abused little child. Cowardice is contagious. Compare their actions and demeanor to the Nashville cops who were aggressive, confident and methodical seeking the shooter. And the Louisville cops stopping the bank shooter with one officer giving up his life while these cowards are saying "I don't want to get shot" in a quaky crying voice.
They should get a job in a warehouse somewwhere where they feel safe and don't have to deal with the public.

If course it is! But over 100 police officers were on the scene. It's a symptom of a much larger problem. The second amendment needs to be severely modified, it was designed for tyrannical governments oppressing the population. But let's just be realistic, do you think that the disgruntled Americans stand a chance against the US military? The way that the second amendment was written is pretty much obsolete, Americans vote to put politicians in office that closely reflect the views of their constituents. The NRA is an organization that is really not your friend, I hate to tell you, they are an organization that is in place to help the firearms industry. They don't care about the carnage that the product that they are here to protect causes. The NRA has convinced a large segment of the United States to believe that the government is here to take their rights. The fact e, that the right wing ideology is actively taking rights from women, minorities, LGBTq and other so called undesirables. If Americans could wake up and start thinking critically, we as a population can advance from this stagnant state of government.

The one true hero that day was little angel Kloie Torres. She’s the little girl who covered herself in the blood of her dead friend to try and stay alive by playing dead. AND she is the child who made 3 or 4 calls to 911 during the 77 min LEO circle-jerk pleading for help, advising there were dying victims and other kids still hiding, she even told them to send an ambulance. What a truly remarkable little girl, such bravery…the image of her sitting on the school bus covered in blood is absolutely heartbreaking! I hope Chief Pete sees it every time he closes his eyes !

.556, .223, 7.762 bullets were made, tested, and designed specifically for combat operations. (Just another reason to ban .223, .556 and 7.762)
Anything below a .556 (hunting caliber excluded) was made for civilian use.
The AR15 was made for civilian self defense. BUT the platform is a watered down military grade M4 and we both know that lmao.
Do you kinda see the difference in military grade/civilian use now?
It annoys me the AR15 platform is getting called out, But not the bullets that are going through walls. Someone can use a wooden block, put AR15 internals in the wood block. Boom, now you have a wood block that shoots .556 just like an AR would (maybe not as proficiently but still)😂

They could've put their life on the line so those kids could've lived at least as long as the cops did. But, no. That's asking too much. I guess.

That's their job? Civilian safety is #1 priority in a school shooting with officer safety #2 the officers KNOW this, if they weren't ready or willing to accept these terms, why'd they join the police force, the only way to explain this was cowardice. They had a minimum of 10 fully armed officers vs 1 untrained gunman. They were too busy trying to get "protection" while literal CHILDREN were dying and they KNEW, GOD, I wish you were one of the kids who died there, or at least there to experience the trauma they faced, then you wouldn't sprout this bs ever again. You say they got the policing they asked for and deserved? What kind of idiotic and arrogant statement is that? Did they call the police to help save them and neutralize the threat or to stand around like a bunch of sissies with their tails tucked between their legs? I didn't think so. So no, we won't stop complaining because this is a tragic situation that easily could have been avoided. The teachers were being better officers than the actual officers, and back to your original point "who would die to save your kid" firstly, HOW THE HELL WOULD THEY DIE. They are MULTIPLE GROWN AND TRAINED men, meanwhile the shooter is 1 single untrained highschool bum with a gun. And even if they WERE going to die. That's their job, they KNOW this, they AGREED to this. Too bad they were all being cowards, id love to see how they would've reacted if it was their own kids in that building and id love to see how you'd react being in the position the kids were in, all I can say to you is you're better off dead. Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart take your life.@user-qp6hh3lt7e

Thought theyd be well covered up like houston pd when they got caught killing homeowners and planting drugs so retiring poloce got free houses and cars, they even would tell the people what car to buy lmao. As a soldier it mortifies me that they refused to move in. I’m not gonna sit here and pretend I have the training these officers might have (war and policing are different animals) but I think I speak for a lot of us that we’d charge in, no matter what weapon, what armor, whatever we may possess, with the mindset of “either he dies or I do”

Sometimes you have to go with what little you got. Watching this, I kept screaming in my mind GO! GO! GO! Get in there!. You got what you got...just go!
I'm chairborne warrior this thing, but I can't help but think if the cops had quickly teamed up and hit the door, things might have turned out better. Not great...the cops would have taken casualties...but better than women and kids dead.

Yeah the whole thing is a mess. They should have just went in with the first three, which could have given them some element of surprise when making entry.
Not going in initially gave the shooter ample time to set up and get ready for police entry, guaranteeing casualties.
After that it's hard to blame all of them. Some are clearly cowards, but at the same time some want to go, but the amount of departments and officers involved just convoluted the whole thing.
In the end, the lack of leadership made the whole scene into a bunch of dudes waiting to be told what to do.

Not only can these cowards not be sued due to qualified immunity, but they are still receiving full paychecks to this day. There are no consequences for their mistakes. Even while some officers are "suspended" due to negligence they still receive a full paycheck. Sounds like a never-ending paid vacation. If the parents do decide to sue the city, police department, or school district... the taxpayers will be the ones who will pay the lawsuit while the officers at fault suffer no consequence and still receive a full paycheck.
