Today I have learned that zippers aren't as intimidating as I thought they were! I love your instructional videos!

I love this pattern.
Wow sooo easy & beautiful 😍👍🌹
Great, easy to follow instructions! I have made 21 of them so far for Christmas this year, but I quilted the outside fabric. They make such great gifts! ❤️
Ms. Maureen Wow 😮 21? That is fantastic! Quilting the outside would be extra special 😃

Thanks for the wonderful compliment 😊 Stay safe over there 🤗
Spot on instruction!! TADA!!
Ha ha ha!
😜😍
A great tutorial. Thank you. I don't have a zipper foot. Will this work with a regular foot?
No, you do need a zipper foot. Most machines come with one. You can purchase one for your machine.
@@TheBrokenNeedle Hmmm ... OK. I will look into it. I have my grandmother's OLD Singer machine. Thank you 👍
Beautiful
First time here! Looking to know how NOT to break my needle when sewing over the zipper making new tab stopper!!! No one seems to address that in all the many videos I’ve watched!!!
HI Mariette, I'm not sure why your needle would be breaking. When sewing across the zipper, nylon zippers and plastic zippers sew very easily, metal zippers can also be sewn across (if the needle hits the metal part that could break the needle)- just use the handwheel and go slowly and you'll be fine.
First time here...this looks great....I know we can use any size, but could you please give dimensions 😉
Where did you get that awesome fabric?
Too cute
Love this! sew cute!
+twingrls23 Thanks for watching 😍
I know you can make pouches any size, but may I ask what size material you used. I'm going to try my first one today. Thanks.
Hi, 9” x 12 “ 😀 Thanks for watching!
@@TheBrokenNeedle Thanks so very much for the speedy response. I love your tutorials and have subscribed. Thanks again.
I like your videos they are very easy to follow. Did you do the 500 subscriber giveaway? I must have missed it. Congrats at almost 600 now.
Thanks Leslie! We passed 500 over the Thanksgiving holiday 😊Yay! We used random generator to choose the winner. Kelly from Iowa was the winner and we notified her privately. I plan to have live videos next year and we will have more giveaways!
I enjoyed the video for rhe lined pouch. I think no will do one with leather.
Katherine Lewis That sounds great! I haven’t sewn with leather yet. I would love to try it in the future. Thanks for watching 😊
Is there any way to keep the top left and right corners near the zipper from being dented inward?
Barbra you could extend the fabric width on each side of the zipper. I cut the fabric and zipper to the same size. If the fabric is wider than the zipper that should prevent the dent 😊
I’m watching tons of videos for same reason. The only thing I can think of is rolling the zipper down. So zipper is dropped a half inch or so from top but think that would mean have to sew lining and fabric sides at same time and raw edges not encased on sides? Not sure.
