I personally had the best help from 1: trying to make sail switch many times when I was on the board but not foiling. 2: Getting used to sail with and without foiling with the opposite foot in the front (that's how we have to sail a couple of seconds after switching the sail) 3: Experiencing foot change without foiling many many times. What I found is hanging on the sail more and decreasing your weight on the feet and on the board eases this movement.
Can't wait to get back on the water today. Forward foot pressure is the key. A short radius turn is exactly the opposite of what I thought I should be doing but makes sense. I'll let you know.

I was trying to get it switched prior to the jibe, I will see if i can do more like you are. I am not that flexible though to hold the wing on the opposite side. Wenn ich mich bei wenig Wind auf Raumwindkurs aufs Foil pumpe, habe ich danach null Druck im Wind und falle zurück auf die Oberfläche. Muss ich nachdem das Foil rauskommt anluven? Danke Dir

Hey, there are different courses you can ride. All courses are relatet to the winddirection, one of them is „upwind“ That means you should ride upwind again. Was that helpful ?

I am 62 and no experience. So thank you for the tips. This time next year I will have mastered kite foiling.
