Every time they stand by their trolley, in an empty isle where others won't see you, adding everything up to check what they have to put back before they go to the till. Every time they will think of them. But, my grandparents will never cross their mind. They will never think of them. They don't feel malice towards them, they don't feel enjoyment from what's happening to them, they don't feel remorse or joy or guilt. My grandparents don't exist to them. They never will. Yeah, the whole thing is despicable. What's more annoying is if they got ripped off they'd be angry as hell. Yet they are ripping people off every day.
@@OMIEntertainment One time I managed to hold a scammer on the call for nearly 30 minutes before they realised that I was playing them, and the guy had the audacity to tell me that I was being dishonest and rude

@@Prshfh N as in night is a bad one. M sounds a lot like N and night sounds a lot like might. Then again, the official NATO alphabet's N is November which could I'm now realizing could be slightly confused with "Movember" since that's sort of a thing. The commonly used alternative is Nancy but Archer screwed that up for us.
I would be like (knowing it's a scam) "Well you're adopted clearly."
(Nothing against children or people who are adopted, just whoever is pretending to have a name)
Listing to the call at 14:30 made me so sad (I mean the whole thing is pretty awful but you really hear how awful the whole thing is).
I love that this channel is doing such good work.

I like how “Jim Browning” is like an infamous name in the scamming world. Godspeed, Jim.
He works like a ghost. Pretty awesome.
He's like the Batman of the scamternet......
Best thing about it:
1. I seriously doubt Jim Browning is even his real name
2. His purported real voice is most probably a fake-but-realistic voice
3. He probably doesn’t even work alone, but with multiple organisations to bring down these scammers
And the scammers themselves know it, are too busy playing the cat-and-mouse to effectively scam our elderly folks.
(The dumb ones think it’s a real Jim Browning working alone hahahaha)
Whoever’s behind the Jim Browning: thank you for doing this for humanity 👍🏼
@@mervunited yes
Even if Mr Browning wasn’t the first, he is the father of stopping scammers. Thank you! You are brilliant!
Hearing her voice, saying she's exhausted, makes me think of my grandma. This shit burned me up. God bless you Jim. I don't know how they do it.
i think that lady is kitobag using his grandma voice changer
they don't care... it is money to them... they could care less about us fat lazy westeners it seems....
and why shoudl they stop? no authorities are seriously targetting them...
the indian government seems quite content to keep allowing them to bring money into the country....
and our own government know these are happening yet do little (if anything) to stop these scams besides warning people...sigh...
with the covid stuff we went into full lockdowns to protect our elderly... yet these...are almost as devastating it seems... taking their life savings.....
If it makes you feel any better, a payment slip file shown seen on another video from this channel shows that these scammers receive in Indian Rupees just the equivalent of 150 British pounds per month / 210 American dollars per month. PER MONTH.
Person: "Do you know who you're talking to? What is my name?"
Scammer: "I do believe can I speak with Pameela? Your name is Pameela?"
Person: "With who? Pameela? No, what is my name, my full name?"
Scammer: "Pamela 2 Westland Road?"
I'm proud of Pamela 👏👏
Not a real duck
Pamela: "Oh fuck, they're on to me!"
I have no idea who you are, but when you called that lady's bank to warn them, and then you called her to reveal what happened, my heart just swelled up with love for you. You are an AWESOME human being!

I´m an Amazon Customer Service representative, almost 30% of the calls i received are regarding situations like this, i even had to speak with an old lady that were scammed for more than 1k dollars on payments of 200 dollars each month, i always try to do what we call "Extra Mile" on those calls and give them a lot of information, i even talk about your videos on my calls sometimes, keep up the good work, i really love your videos.
I don’t know why, but I doubt your claim of being a Amazon Customer Service representative.

Old people: If a random person with an Indian accent calls you, just hang up.
I once called legit Amazon support & the person has Indian accents too. I ended up receiving Amazon credits for the issue lol.
@@boy638 You called support... support didn't call you. That's the difference. Amazon will never call you without an open support issue.
That is wrong, indias aren't the only one that scammed, I once even spoken with an American before trying to fish information, don't be fooled by that.
@@boy638 same thing happened to me and a guy with an Indian accent picked up and it was because a bunch of random charges showed up so he told me that he had to transfer me to a special team and I just said I was good.
On a landline, I just pick up the phone and say nothing. A lot of the dialers wait for a response before they even try to connect you to a worker. Just pick up and listen for a few seconds. If you hear a transfer cue (that poit sound), a prerecorded voice/TTS, or if there are no signs of human life, just hang up. As far as I'm concerned, there's no point distinguishing the scammers from what is considered legitimate telemarketing. It's all a bunch of automated dishonesty at this point. Landline telephones are no longer practically useful for inbound calls.
Listening to that call was harrowing - and then Jim comes in and completely saves the day. I genuinely thought we were going to have a bad ending. Thank god. So glad he could be there.
Imagine they say: "Do you know a Mr. Alan Wardson?"
And the lady says: "Of course, he's my husband!"
