Well kept in excellent working condition after World War 2 ended! Good Soviet tank destroyer with a nice 100 mm D-10S gun able to penetrate German Panther medium tank from 1500m.
JustARandomGuy StuG's lacked protection and firepower while JP's were big and prone to breakdowns due flawed panther design... Personal favoritism dos not have anything with actual stats...
Peter C I find them aesthetically pleasing, Tiger would piss on this any day! Any way this is as exposed as the StuG and Jagdpanzers from the sides...and Russian tanks weren't prone to breaking down...All the Su were pretty big targets too man, the stats...
It looks in great condition. saw one of these online to buy, about £45000. but it didnt look as good as this one. would love to see any of the other tanks in that garage.
What country was this SU-100 built in? Czechoslovakia? How many of these are there in running condition in the world? Are there any in private collections?
This SPG was built in the USSR, the SD-100 (SU-100 made in Czechoslovakia) has a little difference. SD-100 here: ua-cam.com/video/xRq_RLbcoAA/v-deo.html
Ahhh...well, no it doesn't. It was a great weapon in its day but that was a long time ago. By the end of the 70's - still an excellent lifespan for a WWII design - it was out-moded. These days a tank needs at least a 120mm gun.
against modern tanks? nope..... but yes against medium and light armored vehicles it can get the job done..... can be sold to some rebels who can use it as artillery or something...
I always found these Soviet designs really interesting! They just look mean!

Only in theory.
I think It can around 1000m... Definetley can kill a tiger-1

JustARandomGuy SU series is one of the best tanks in terms of surviving/getting destroyed ratio.Meanwhile stugs and jp's were getting shit on.

@@yolkhereAh wow thanks!
Was it based on a T-34 Chasis?
Yes, I believe.
+Supes Me Yes it was.
Yes.
Yes
Love Soviet armor.....
Beautiful
tank is obsolete, but that gun still kicks ass

@@thethirdman225 Если к тебе домой прилетит 100-мм осколочно-фугасный, ты его от 120-мм не отличишь...
Like the sound)
such menacing elegance :)
timtamtung I like the jagdpanther better 😊
Fine! If anyone is interested, I have a video on the channel inside this self-propelled gun
As a russian, I love and respect SU-100, but it will lose to Jagdpanther I think.
100mm, the same as the T-55
good footage...
thx...
There was a T34 in there
The Chassis Look Like T-34
Awesome !
Классная машина
Russian hard bass starts
На Донбасс его нужно отправить.
