My flower came out with a large hollow in the middle...how do make it tighter, as if it had more petals at the center?

it is so frustrating that everyone seems to easily do this, while i am struggling and on my 5th try doing this.
what i learned from this is that 2.7x2.7in paper is not fit for any origami that has details

It's not as good as kawasaki rose. It's too flat.
Your video is easy to follow, and I was able to fold one.
I also like the Kawasaki better, but this model is easier for most.
