Fathomfolk mostly takes place above water. It still has underwater scenes, though, so since you're not trying to get hard mode it will still count for the square!

I’ll read it anyway, but will keep an eye out for other underwater/underground books.

It’s a fun way to read some different books.

Someone else reading A Demon in the Desert for that square!! I hope it's as fun as it sounds. I found the Ted Chiang collection really solid as well.

It sounds fun. It’s on my May TBR, so I’ll find out soon.

Have you read any books by Mercedes Lackey? She's very prolific - her books would fit many of the prompts on this bingo card if you are looking for something! She has books about bards (a whole series in fact), books published in the 90s (and is still publishing currently), and a lot of the others.

I’ll have to look into her books. I’ve been hearing good things about them.

7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was AMAZING! Do give it at least 100-150 pages before you DNF because the beginning is (intentionally) very confusing. The conclusion was 🤯

I’m so looking forward to this one. My boyfriend loved it, so I will definitely keep reading even if confused.
