My first flight ever happened to be on the exact same day that Lubitz hijacked the Germanwings flight. The horror these people felt must have been beyond imagination
Everyone on board Germanwings 9525 is doomed because they have to let a psychotic depressed Andreas Lubitz alone in the cockpit while the captain goes to the CR.
@@AZ0986688 Lubitz said: if you're planning to go the bathroom, now's your chance and the captain said: okay I will go. Ever since 9/11, cockpit doors were reinforced and they also have a panel to override their access codes. Not only that, the 2 person cockpit rule wasn't applied to Germanwings ever since LAM470, and the doctors who give Lubitz notes that advise him not to fly didn't warn the company about copilot's condition worsening because they might face prosecution.
Your 100% correct the FO disconnect the autopilot and then started to dive the plane down as the captain tried to break into the cockpit so he can regain control.
Five passengers, all seated within two rows of each other, survived the initial impact, but one died two days later of his injuries. In addition to the four human survivors, a dog, which had been in a carrier in the cargo hold at the time of the crash, survived the accident.
The Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA) found that Flight 148 crashed because the pilots left the autopilot set in Vertical Speed Mode instead of Flight Path Angle Mode and then set "33" for "3.3° descent angle", resulting in a high descent rate of 3,300 ft (1,000 m) per minute into terrain.
@bogeymalone I hope not. Planes land there several times a day and nothing goes wrong. Pilots know what they are doing and the airplanes these days are sophisticated. It's just a matter of being focus obeying the sterile cockpit rules and following your checklist for landing. If I remember correctly in that episode they were not at right speed and altitude for going into one of the step down if they had pay attention to airplane instruments they would know they made a mistake. These airplanes fly themselves pilots just need to pay attention.
@@bogeymaloneI was a former pilot for flydubai and I used to land at TIA( Tribhuban int'l airport) 4 times a week and it is not that scary you'll enjoy the view until you touchdown and it's quite spectacular
One reason to not be scared of flying is because notice how most and all of these crashes are form way back than well now we have the technology to make the aircrafts stronger, faster and more durable “armor”.
6000 feet is the maximum altitude for a aircraft transponder to appear on ATC Radar. but if the Altitude was dropping fast on the ATC-Radar before it disappeared then theres a good chance the aircraft went down.
One plane crash that I think Smithsonian should cover is the Hendrick Motorsports plane crash from 2004. It killed many members of the team including Rick Hendrick’s son Ricky who was a NASCAR Busch series driver and was a rising star.
I fund it utterly amazing that at the time if the crash someone just happened to be standing there with a camera to film what really happened, so they didn't have to reenact the crash.
Ummm idiot obviously there's no one standing there filming the crash it's an animation as well smh, literally you actually think someone is actually standing there... nooo im kidding lmfaoo ikr isn't it amazing how someone tends too film all these crashes perfectly in the middle of nowhere.. absolutely amazing to capture that kinda footage so perfectly even in the sky there's people filming, I find it incredible
Germanwings Flight 9525 was a hijacking flight. The co pilot was a stupid hijacker that won’t let the pilot get in and the co pilot closed the door and crashed on the mountains at purpose. Edit: Omg the baby on Germanwings Flight 9525 made me sad cause she died on the plane crash and her life was too short Another edit: Japan Airlines Flight 123 left the video/chat
*-just came back from my holiday and saw this so scary ahhh I can’t believe I could have went though this on my flight at least i fly with emirates -*🎉😢😮🇦🇪
Mount Erebus is another mountain that got crashed into the flight is called air New Zealand flight 901 ,the crash was one of the deadliest dc-10 crash with killing all 237 passengers and 20 crew members It wasn’t used in the video though,he can’t just do every plane crash into a mountain ya know
Just back from flying for a holiday, stopped watching these a few weeks beforehand not to freak myself out but im glad i can now watch them again 😂
HAHAHAHAH same
It’s a relief when they get interviewed, they are safe
But when all the people from the airplane die, there will be different people interviewing.

2:32 Trans-Colorado Airlines Flight 2286

I feel the most sad for the captain himself, given that his co-pilot completely locked him out 😭😭
Thank you for a new video,I love this channel and the narrator's voice too❤
I agree with you, I wish for that voice for my videos one day....
This channel along with Wonder and Mayday, Air Disasters are my favorite!
I love this show! I watch it all the time!
I think this channel is awsome as well, it's not nice to see people die. but we live and learn.
There's no episodes starting tonight. I can't wait

Why didn't the captain just use a bottle to relieve himself???😮 And another question: why was there no secret way to open the cockpit door?? Hmm?

That's one lucky pup!
OMY the little girl made me cry cause she crashed on a plane and she was like 6 years old 😢
The Kathmandu airport seems scary to land into

All I’m noticing is they have enough crashes to keep making a new series .

How airlines take risk to go such destination where there is no radar..like Nepal
Hey french spy here
What the pilot sayed in the first crash "merde" means "shit"
Howd German wings disappear from radar from being too low it was 6000 feet up when it hit yes?

Number 3 Frightened me after the Plane Crashed and consumed by fire and R.IP 167 passengers
The last one was mass murder, and…
The rule for having 2 crew members in the cockpit didn't pass ever since LAM470's crash
There should always be 3 people in the cockpit, just my opinion.
Thats a good opinion, with 3 people, they can make the airplane safe
I remember little that there were one accident that was neither plane or pilot fault
congrats for the cameraman risking his life for us
😂😂😂
Stop this lame statements
Cameraman never dies! Heck, he went to space atleast 2000 times!
It's an animation

I don't know about aviation rules, but if I missed a wavepoint in the Andes I would climb very high first and then think about it.
