Loved the rollback on a hill

I drive a manual from 2011 and even that has hill assist🤦🏽‍♂️

A DCT works like a computer controlled manual, there is no tuque converter to hold the car without the brake, you need to use auto hold if your car has it, or the hand brake like you would in a manual.

Thanks today, you answered my question recently. i bought a Haval h6 Hybrid, and it has the same DCT transmission that rolled back a little bit before I started moving from the red light, i got scared many times.

The t in DCT means transmission. You don't have to then add the word transmission lol

I am pretty sure this car has it as well. The hill was just too steep and I wanted to get a rollback on purpose

Use the breaks to hold u on a hill. Your gears will love you.

This car has it too, it is just a very minor roll back because of a very steep hill & me not giving it gas on purpose to feel the little roll back

If you dont use the brakes on a hill stop and just lightly tapping the gas or even release the gas pedal, it will not roll

its a dct they're a manual transmission that automatically selects gears manually.

@@kleinerritter2351 a DSG should never roll back, since the clutch immediately engages. There’s probably something wrong. I drove a lot of DSGs, and never rolled back on a hill.
