I have not played any current gen games in 5 years or so and by looking at this it blows my mind how much has changed in those 5 years graphically. People that kept on playing probably didn't notice as much but man what a difference if you are not used to it anymore.
Same. My ps4 bricked around 2018 and no laptop just phone now :( I miss playing video games but I get my fix watching others playthroughs even watching the classics for a trip down memory lane. One day I'll get a ps5 until then I gotta get my priorities right . God speed my friend

Same here. My first and last time with Call of Duty (COD) was in 2008 with COD 2. I didn't play anything after 2009. Can you imagine how I felt when seeing COD Modern Warfare I, COD Vanguard, and Battlefield 2042? I returned to games in 2021. I was like Jubba in the movie Gladiator: "I didn't know men could build such things" (first Coliseum scene).

We've sure come a long way when it comes to gaming I remember owning the Atari 2600 in 1978 and all we had was on Asteroids Space Invaders and look at where we're at now 40 years later, just incredible. The facial rendering the immersion the lighting effects & the fun, killer sound effects it's surround sound effects just incredible. Story is insightful & intriguing, you guys really have got it good today. We have wet ourselves, if this was our gaming experience........Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The graphics are incredible, there getting closer to movie standered , playing wargames is an education , makes you realise how pointless and wasteful the hole stupid war was .
They arent lol... the animations are basic, the physics are non existent, the textures and geometry is basic like a 15yr old game and the AI if you can call it that is laughable. As game engines go this is the most polished of turds EVER but its still an extremely linear turd underneath. When the cutscenes are the highlight of a game then youve chosen very unwisely.
Also im pretty sure theres billions of people who didnt think WW2 was pointless.

Wow so according to this game 88s were firing like machine guns so WoW I don't know if you guys know this but an 8.8 CM flak 36 is a very heavy anti-aircraft gun the shells are extremely heavy it takes time for the crew to load I mean I get if they were 20 mm for 37 mm AA but 88 and next question why are they not focusing on British commandos where are all the commandos dressed up like Americans and why is the character black is he South African is he from one of the British colonies oh wait I forgot I'm watching a call of duty game where history doesn't matter

Were there any black soldiers in D-Day planes as paratroopers? - NO! Were black people considered inferior and only good for back-up jobs like cleaning, cooking, etc? - YES.
Now, why this rearrangement of history? Will the next WW2 game depict US Army saving Germans from the Russians, to serve as a lesson to moderns kids, because they sure aren't learning too much history and geography in your schools.
