3 things this game does well: * Obviously the music is a bop * The writing will make you chuckle without having to drown in layers of irony * The platforming and movement is just so freakin' satisfying
Dude it even has a fighter segment, surfing segment and other cool stuff truly the best platformer i have ever played (sorry shovel knight i still love you). AND IF SOMEONE SAYS IT IS A TOTAL RUBBISH BECOUSE ITS PIXELATED I" CUT THEIR THROUT OPEN (an go take the scroll to the top of the mountain)
It also has a really accessible game design. The way it introduces elements and mechanics in relative safety before having you rely on them for progression is really well done. The animation speed, tight controls, and OST/SFX all work together really well and the way the platforming and movement elements were fed to you had me looking at every new room like a ninja; "Huh, can I skip all that by cloudstepping this dude right here?"
Speaking about the writting : this game is from a french canadian studio, and trust me their québécois translation (the OG writting in fact) was godlike, I can feel my french canadian root burst.

I wonder when Jared'll do the whole OST. Or if he's already done it. Best thing about the game though, is that it's not only the soundtrack that's top tier. It's a blast to play as well.
