Videos like this are why I’ve stopped going out late in the bar scene. No good comes from stumbling around drunk out of a bar at 2:30 am or later. No good.

So true .. I once found myself in a odd situation I was drunk but I could think and I was aware...
it was midnight I decided to cut short through council estates instead of using the Main Street .. i came across this guy as I passed him I looked at him and he had the craziest look in his eye I kept walking then I turn around and he had stopped and was looking in my direction
So for some stupid reason I stoped and I looked straight into his crazy eyes like to say make your move... I think he realised that I was up for a fight and decided to leave... I was lucky I’m 5.6 tall he was 5.2 maybe less... if that would have been a tall strong guy I’d be dead for sure
His eyes were pure evil .. I think he was on drugs ....
I said to myself ... never ever again !!!! I was very silly

My mother's fiancee disappeared from Dallas, Texas in 1980. He was a wonderful guy who adored me and my mom. Everything was going great for him, and then he just vanished. His car was found abandoned at a mall. My mother never was able to move on even though she was only in her twenties at the time. She died young, and I believe part of her early health decline was due to that grief that never went away. She always said that the worst part was "not knowing". She's have preffered for a body to have ben found or something that could have brought some closure.

I was a student at UIUC when that asian girl was kidnapped. One of the messed up things that wasn't mentioned was the accused kidnapper, Brendt, showed up to her candlelight thing and talked to her parents before they knew of him. He also asked his landlord to clean his bathroom because of mold even though there wasn't a mold problem. Apparently whatever mold cleaner they use can clean up evidence of blood. Very disturbing stuff. Hopefully justice will be served.

And for him to show up to her candlelight, that's just blatantly disrespectful and evil. It wasn't enough for him to kill her, he had to mock her loving parents as well. People like him make me sick and, in my eyes, don't deserve to live. I know I'm no one to pass that sort of judgment, but someone like him will do it again if allowed the chance to.

I was walking home from class one night through a sketchy part of town when this woman walked up right next to me and started talking to me like I was her best friend. Turns out a car she didn’t recognize had been slowly driving behind her for several blocks, and she hadn’t been able to shake it off until she saw me. When I turned to look at the car it had stopped driving and was just sitting right in the middle of the road. Needless to say we booked it out of there as fast as we could. I walked her to her bus stop (which was over half a mile away) and made sure she got on safely. I’m sure it was all just a misunderstanding, but a part of me is terrified at the thought of what could have happened if I wasn’t there that night.

I don't understand why Corrie McKeague is seen as a mystery. He was known to have slept in the bins when blackout drunk before. His phone moved quickly along the exact route of the bin collection truck at the exact times it would have been on the route. That day, the truck weighed in heavier than average by just about exactly the last known weight of Corrie McKeague. I feel awful for his family, but they are in denial.

this guy has never seen a landfill operation with on site incinerators, thats why he finds it hard to believe they could not find any shred of evidence. if he went straight to the incinerator chutes, you really dont look at what your tipping, you are more concerned with not getting run over, and out on landfill, its huge no one is looking for bodies, and its a mass of strewn rubbish, that is being turned over and then covered in short order.
its sad for the family to accept, but their son was rather foolish, and paid the ultimate price for it.he would have most likely suffocated or died from sheer bone breaks, some of them compact to a pressure between 100-120 bar set up on the pack plates, not sure on other sorts of compactors. its a lot of pressure

This surprised me a lot as well.
I hunt and frankly if someone had told me there was an active missing persons investigation, I would immediately put my gear back in my truck grab my thermos and ask where I had to sign up to help with the search.
Honestly, I think a lot of the hunters would have offered invaluable knowledge of the land and forest - its part of the hunting, you need to know the area as well as possible.
So I agree, they 100% should have shut the area down for hunting and maybe even ended up enlisting the support of the hunters in the area.
Note for other commenters: don't know how it is in other areas/countries, but you can't use traps on big game in my country/region, and you can't use dangerous traps on government forest in my area either - the number 1 threat (although very rare and unlikely) would be the hunters who are inexperienced and have trigger fingers (shoot before taking a second to see what they are aiming at).
I have had people walk out in front of me a few times, and to ensure they dont feel scared I announce myself calmly, unload, and rest my gun down.
Some of us can be quite respectful and friendly. Also, although there are idiot hunters, some hunters like myself are not idiots (at least I like to think I am not) haha.
I am educated in Forensic Psychology, and I am Masters educated in Criminology.
Although idiocy can often exist in the presence academic achievement haha

They "solved" Corrie McKeague's case. They searched a 2nd landfill and found a dumpster that came from the houseshoe area weighed 200lbs more than it should've. Because they weren't able to find any remains of his left when they finally searched the correct landfill, they can't officially close the case but it has been solved. Everybody in SE Asia knows that there is an "invisible hand" within every government in the region. This is because the powerful people are above all laws in these countries. If you upset one or more of them, you will definitely suffer. The police are often used to do the dirty work for the powerful folks, and not necessarily because they are getting paid for extrajudicial murders and kidnappings, etc. They are paid, but they don't get a choice and are afraid to refuse the offer. Offers are usually understood as orders or commands. Any eyewitnesses are silenced by indirect threats or force. Keeping your mouth shut is often a way of survival in SE Asia.

While hearing them I kept thinking where did they get them? and who is looking for that poor person? One involved a man being brought into the room, wearing boxers only and looked like he had been drugged. I won't go farther into the story, but listening to this now, story # 4 I think was the guy they thought may have been picked up in a waste bin? Sombath Somphone: Still missing
Corrie McKeague: Police have concluded he fell asleep in a trash bin based on the weight of the bin when picked up, he was collected with the rubbish, processed, and in a landfill. His girlfriend revealed months into the investigation she was pregnant and had his daughter.
    Logan Schiendelman: Still missing
Yingying Zhang: Was abducted and murdered by Brendt Christensen. She was brutally murdered, decapitated, and dismembered by Christensen. Her remains were then disposed of in the trash. Due to trash processing and it being a private landfill, the hopes her remains will be recovered is extremely slim.

It just hits you viscerally, not to know what happened to my nephew who was in Ghana for just two weeks, that just about did me in. And it may sound strange but I also miss my cousin Meekah, somebody just took off with his ashes after his death, most likely one of his care providers, and it isn’t right, just not right. @shannonritz 6 років тому +14

I also feel another very obvious factor was glossed over in this video. Somphone was a champion of sustainability. He wanted to teach people to be self-sufficient and live in balance with the environment through sustainable practices. People who would suffer from those practices are rather obvious- Big fertilizer, pesticide and oil companies. I think those entities could have had a definite beef against him and would have wanted him gone. This is what happened with Berta Cáceres. It's not hard to think the same thing also happened to Somphone.

    • @shannonritz
      @shannonritz 6 років тому +7

Aaron Bradley Oil goes into making many types of fertilizer. Oil, fertilizer and pesticide companies all have footholds in Laos (or want footholds since it's a developing country). Developing countries also need transportation and cars- again oil companies want their foot in the door. That's how it ties in. I also find it to be glaringly obvious who would be against sustainable practices which is why I'm surprised it wasn't even brought up as an afterthought in the video.

    • @Voirreydirector
      @Voirreydirector 6 років тому

Aaron Bradley Somphone pushed for sustainability on the village and even household level. Though I believe things are a little better now, it used to be illegal to have a garden for your own food, or to have a few chickens! That way you are dependent on markets whose licenses to grow and sell were glorified kickbacks to politicians. Somphone worked to help small and family growers out, but he also thought villagers should have solar and wind power. This would hit the electric companies but also the oil products industry, because whole areas are dependent on various fuel mixes delivered regularly to heat their homes in winter. This idea was installed in the eighties and is just a nightmare. A people who at least had an independent cash economy now max out credit cards to heat their homes. No, they aren’t in a hugely cold area of the world, but some places in deep valleys can get quite cold. I do have a thought, though, considering a man I knew who had done nothing wrong but came across knowledge of major wrongdoing was “arrested” but while on transport to jail simply disappeared. Everybody knows he’s in protection, perhaps Somphone was whisked away, I mean it looks like they deliberately did all these confusing things deliberately in front of rare working camera! I ran this by a friend who would know, and she thinks someone like amnesty international would step in and get him out of the country if they thought the government was becoming too intolerant of his views. Now I am relaying some second hand knowledge here, usually it is from my own experience that I speak, jus wanted to say.

These videos are what makes your channel so amazing. Not "Top 5 Children Cartoons that predict our sudden death" or something like that. These videos are ACTUALLY worth watching and are spectacularly interesting - not only from a "plot" point of view, but obviously from a psychological point of view. You see all of these people, you see their actions and you wonder whether there's a line that shouldn't be crossed and so on and so forth. These videos are your best. I sincerely hope there are more of them coming up. Great video, 11/10 if I could rate it like that ;-) Keep up the good work!

I've pushed most people out of my life, and the ones left are sick of hearing me "complain"... meaning I rarely get compassion, support and encouragement like you gave me. I'll be riding high (happy-ish☺️) all day because of your wonderful words, thank you💙
To answer you though... I have good days and bad days, with my "good days" simply meaning I can get out of bed. I've lost my business, my hobbies, and my savings because of my depression, over the years. That being said.... I am a single parent (100% custody) to the most amazing 10yo boy and I'm all he's got. I would never, EVER leave him. Never. You are right- it would destroy him. Someone "destroyed" me a long time ago and I will spend the rest of my life helping others, especially my son, avoid or heal from the "destroyers" in this world. I think my son gives me the strength to keep living, and not run away, and I am so so grateful for amazing people. Today is a good day, btw, and today I am grateful for you SDB 💙 (it's weird that I opened up... especially online to a stranger... totally out of character for me but oh well. A long long while ago, before home internet was a wide spread thing, I ordered this booklet thingy called The underground manual or something like that. And in it it had all this info on how to fake your death, get fake IDs, disappear, start over with a new identity etc
I wanted to start over and disappear so bad and had fantasies about it for nearly a decade but it's not really possible if you are at least a tiny tiny bit sane; the logistics are a nightmare. On Jan 26 2017, William Cierzan vanished from his home in Canyon Country California at some point between 4:30pm and 7:00pm. The last person to see him alive was his nephew Daniel. Daniel claims to have left the house around 1:30pm after a beer run and a day of watching golf. Will’s wife called him from work at 4:30 while Will was cooking dinner to tell him she’d be home around 7:00pm. He happily reported that he was cooking chicken. She arrived home at 7:00pm to find dinner on the stove, Will’s wallet, keys, and jacket, but no Will. Police subsequently found blood evidence inside and out indicating injury. A vehicle closely resembling Daniel’s (an alleged Juggalo associate) was seen via a neighbor’s security cam around 5:00pm backing into the garage, then leaving after ten minutes. No positive ID of this vehicle could be made, and no sign of Will has been seen nor trace found since.
Will was neighborhood friend where I grew up, and our parents were close. Will had a photographic memory, a very sharp wit, and loved to collect Coca-Cola memorabilia. Later, Will became very religious; a good man with simple needs who loved his wife, his family, and his life. He did not deserve this fate in any way. If you have any information regarding the disappearance of William Cierzan, please contact the Santa Clarita office of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The fact that he said to his grandma "I'm at a crossroads in my life" makes me highly suspect that some bad youths from either his school or outer circle convinced him to do a job with them, with the promise of money or some type of financial reward. Since “Bin” and “bin lorrie” aren’t common words used in the US, just in case anybody didn’t know what they are: they’d be known in the US as a “dumpster” and a “garbage truck”
Also it is important to note, they didn’t search the landfill right away, and in fact waited for over a year to do so. This means it would be easy for his body to have completely disappeared under the trash. Then, when they started finding items that were from around the time he disappeared (receipts ect) they STOPPED SEARCHING.
Also, it has not been confirmed if he was actually sleeping in a doorway, this is just speculation.

The Corrie McKeague case has now been officially closed. An inquest concluded he was died whilst climbing into a bin whilst drunk, and died from "compression asphyxia in association with multiple injuries".
The reason there was so much doubt and so many theories is that because the weight of the bin given to the police was initially incorrect, and way below the weight of an adult male. Had this been accurate at the beginning, the whole thing would have been over much quicker.
