Really wonderfull !!! Yes Thailand had changed alot in a short time .But still a very great country , specially in the north like Mae hon son . Thanks very much for this video !!!
I was there between April 15 1970 and December 30 of 1972. I wish there were photos of Asoke building, Prince, Windsor, Rajah Hotels. Soi 71 and Rama IV . Thanks for the memories.
This was made many years before I was born but there is something about super 8 film that gives a certain nostalgia and connection to the place even tho I have never been to Thailand ... thanks for the upload!
Thanks for a nice footage .I can't believe that this is my country back then. Such a beautiful place but today the natural country life like that is no longer exists .
Yes it does...if you go out of the major cities Thailand has not changed that much...I went to buriram in 2000...now 20 years later in has changed a little bit but the countryside is still the same....BEAUTIFUL THAILAND....

The Narai Hotel had a revolving restaurant at the top. I dined there once. I spent a decade in Bangkok with my parents in the 80s. Fond memories.

Thank you 7th RRFS (74-76).
I was at the 7th for two years 1969-1971. Had a great time 😊
@@rjoyce268 I spent many years in the Army, that duty station was like no other I'd ever been stationed at. Fond memories, and many photos. 👍
