Probably due to ghost hack not supporting playback of Mario's states, you don't see Mario with wing cap on for ex

Indeed, it's just copying position, scale, rotation and animation. Not captured are cap / power up states, head rotation in C-up state, torso tilt when running, quicksand depth and fist/foot scale.
