Thanks for the review. It's kind of weird that reviews on amazon of this product are really positive. But I'm not sure now. I was planning to buy the D13s. Maybe it's better than the D16?
this is a professional review by an artist who has been doing digital art for 10+ years- so he's gonna be nitpicky about the functions of this tablet. I also recommend watching Owlsparks review on the tablet, as that is how it would work from an everyday-artist standpoint, or someone who does art casually.
hey Jan, yes, that was a disappointment for me too. Please mind that the tablet reacts differently depending on the software. I realize now that even the version of Photoshop that you are using could solve this issue
I feel like the build quality is a hit or miss with Artisul. I got one off these a couple years ago and it actually does not have the issues you mentioned. i've noticed in other review videos that the newer driver software looks different from the one i have. Also i recently switched to Clip Studio Paint and the line quality is miles ahead of Photoshop. In CS6 the lines used to be wobbly no matter what i do. But then my friend decided to try out the Artisul D22, which had just released at the time. It just did not work at all. She got a replacement and that one didn't work either so she just sent them back and decided to go with a different brand all together.
I have this tablet and you exaggerated some stuff, as an animator many things you mentioned didn't effect my work flow and were totally blown out of proportion, I almost can't believe you're talking about the same tablet I use
I have a D22S with none of those problems. What are the specs on your computer. Emulating a 0.8mm technical pen, the accuracy with the pen is not there and I have to watch the cursor and not the pen tip. The tilt works but is very dependent on the program. This has half the price of a 22 inch Huion with tilt. I opted for size over the claimed parallax that Huion offers.
Hey, I'm wondering and I thought I could ask. Is there a video of you making the painting in the thumbnail? I can't seem to find any that feature it, so I'd like to ask to make sure.
@@LucasPeinador Ah, alright. Thank you for answering. I'm interested in seeing how it's made from start to finish, as well as how the layers are like for it, so I'll look forward to it.
@@LucasPeinador thank you for replying, if you do plan to do a try out if it's works on type c android phones pls notify me, I need it for my study in visual graphics design in school. I don't want to waste my money that I have saved up for a whole year on something that can't be used in my study. Again thank you so much
update i changed my mind it just took a little time for them to respond but they eventually did and helped me out. i was angry initially that the product i received didn't work but now the problems taken care of.
nice review! thank you . Can you review the XP-PEN Innovator 16 ? I'm excited, I've been doing digital art for 3 years now and this is going to be my first drawing monitor. It looks solid, and now it's $499.99 INCLUDING the stand!
Xppen isnt really a competitor, they have their stuff together, i mean yeah its about 100 dollars more but the quality is way better, except for parallax, seriously their old tablets were really bad for it.
I bought it and I wouldn’t recommend it to others. There were lot of technical issues like incompatibility with softwares, having to delete other drivers, etc. The stylus is very light which may be good for some people but it felt cheap to me. Beware, no free returns ::((
Melina H. Good question, I recommend the iPad Pro/air, although it’s a bit more expensive. If you would prefer to stick about the 100~300 price range, try xp-pen.
I have this except it's so FREAKING BIG and I have a small desk. My pen does not work some days sadly, I wanted to try animating today but unfortunately it wasn't working. Normally resolves itself within a day though.
I did not get that kind of glove with, I got the other kind of glove. - I encountered an issue regarding "No tablet found" trying to install drivers.. Never mind the snake's nest of cables... And that I sit 2.5m away from my screen normally this is already becoming a problem, never mind the issue of just being bad at drawing.. I am having some serious buyer's remorse from having bought this.. I'll have to try it on my old laptop and see if it'll work there but if it doesn't, then I don't know what to do.- This was a good review however. PS. I solved my issue. Like an idiot I too, I had plugged the wrong end of the USB into the wrong spot lol. So now it works.
I have the D13 version of the tablet, it’s pretty old since I got it a few years go; Though when I was drawing today the pressure sensitivity for my pen stopped and so did the hot keys on my tablet. I tried turning my table off and on,, and I restarted my computer and it’s their both still not working hhhhh
i buy mine in 10 octuber... until now they dont delivery to me... all brazilians who buy it have problems with artisul... they said to me to wait untill march... soo... is so sad...
Sorry to hear that Kaya, I don't know about delivery problems, maybe it is because of the region?? Here I remember it arrived pretty fast, but I'm in Slovenia so it may be very different
Do you know how much the situation has changed, if at all? The critiques here are quite damning to the point that I wouldn't consider it, but they've also had 4 years to make changes. It's just unclear to me if there have been any changes, since the product for sale still goes by the same name.
You complain too much dude. Some of the things you're so critical about are not even noticeable when drawing. No tablet is perfect and I just bought this D16pro for 40,000 yen ( US$ 390 ) in Amazon Japan and its really worth the price. Its a great tablet and works well for me.

lucass, this tablet or the huion kamvas 13?
That's hilarious, you had the stand upside down HA HA

🤦

How does this compare to the Huion Kamwas 13
You can watch a review that I have, but I personally would go with the Huion... I like them more
Is there anything i can download to fix the pen problems?
You can use the smooth stabilizer in photoshop
Or try with another painting software
