Wow congratulations Soumyadipta on getting featured by Technicolor. I have seen you grow and achieve so much mastery in this field of animation since last decade. The way and the fluency with which you explain the subject goes to so how deep passion and expertise you have in this subject matter. Way to go buddy...congratulations once again. Cheers..
This is amazing! Unbelievable how fast we've evolved and how fast we are first simulating and than advancing towards that technology. This with nuke will be a real deal. As a 2D/3D VFX artist this looks very promising. Love it!
Awesome job Soumyadipta , I just wonder if blender can be used instead of Maya, and how proficient I should be in Maya in order to apply for 3DDMP Academy? Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Hey guys, awesome introduction btw ! :) I was wondering, (in Nuke) is there a reason why you project your two dmp layers on a different 'scanlineRenderer' Node? Isn't simplier to connect the two layers directly on one scanlineRenderer node? I mean, it's ok, its not a big matte painting with a lot of layers but when yo ugot a big dmp with a lot of layers, the soft is gonna be crazy if there are 10 or 15 ScanlineRenderers haha I was just seeking to have a professional industry experienced advice for it :) Thank you for the Webinar and the answer!
Super excited 🤩

How do you define camera focal length?
Hi Sanjay, It has to be defined in the Attributes Editor on Maya!
