I was in Berlin Germany when the news broke of 9.11, and even the Germans were crying of what happened in Amarica at 9.11. I thought it was Hollywood making a movie, but it became very aparnet it wasent. GOD BLESS AMERICA. I am so proud to be an AMERICA.
It's sad that it took the World Trade Centers going down to unite this country. My prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones in this attack. God Bless our troops.

you posted that 5 years ago and those were some dark times but i think we were more divided in 1860 when we were at war with ourselves and brothers were killing brothers. My point is sometimes we like to think things are worse than ever, but if we look to the past we can see how much this country has faced. We have faced more than this, and we will overcome just like we have before.

@dusenberg I agree with your sentiment about the lap dance. BUT, Hi. was a U.S. Territory and 2117 Americans were killed on the day of the Pearl Harbor attack. BTW, Pearl Harbor wasn't the only attack on U.S. by the Imperial Japanese. California, Oregon and Alaska were also attacked. Alaska was invaded and occupied-my Dad was wounded up there, twice, by the Imperial Japanese Army.

9/11 is a day that will live in infamy. But mainly because of the utter failure of any coherent American response. Apart from the President running away and hiding, I personally did not see any immediate response to the attacks.
