Here's the last character story in AVP 2010. =) What did you think of it and how they are all connected? Last Video ua-cam.com/video/0uKiJqdEg9g/v-deo.html
Dark and The Rookie are basically both noobies that kicked everyone's asses lol. But in AVP my favorite connection was that 6 wasn't just some drone but a queen all along and became one a few hours after the Rookie killed the old one.
+AcidGlow how long is a predator's life span? the crystal thing they use to heal themselves effectively causes hyper regeneration; cells replace themselves by creating new cells but over time they lose this ability to accurately replace themselves and this is what causes ageing. so by causing hyper regeneration you are effectively forcing your body to age. so this begs the question; assuming a predator never gets seriously injured and never fights or gets seriously sick how long is a predator's life span?
Rookie is the most badass of all three playable characters in my opinion The odds were stacked against him pretty high but he managed not only to survive but to killed a queen, a skilled predator and multiple praetorians in one on one. not to mention the dozens of warriors and combat androids he mincemeated along the way.
yes and it makes sense the predator is going to xenomorph prime along with the marines so it would be cool to explore pretty much an endless alien hive and as an alien you could see six as the new queen!
Sega rebellion AND GEARBOX have said they all want to make a sequel at some point HOPEFULLY with 3 longer campaigns and maaaaybe doing more with predator and alien their campaigns were kinda lackluster but MY GOD that marine campaign was amazing!!!!
I feel bad for Rookie. Despite everything he went through, burning the queen, wading through xenomorph after xenomorph, killing three preatorians, sending an army of androids to the scrap yard, beating a predator, and finally killing Weyland ALL BY HIMSELF, Tequila got face fucked and impregnated before he could seal the deal or even get to first base. Life just isn't fair.
@Jesus Pabon nope, Rookie is still on the planet, after specimen 6 extrackted, Rookie is in the jungel after the refinery, ending explains, in the alien ending you see the ship leaving the planet there is no explosion, and the in the marine campgain after Rookie, Tequila, Katya escapes BG you see the explosion where they came from, stories are related but not happeening in the same time, and Specimen 6 is delivered to an another ship (Weyland's ship), different one where Rookie and the other have delivered, even if they go for the same ship where the xeno is, there are no way they even get in the ship, everyone is dead no one to open the ship's blast door to let the dropship in, and that ship is sent out a distress signal, so the ones who in that dropship know there are some kinda shit going on, its easy to know this all if you think about it a bit
I actually liked the love story between rookie and tequila. I do remember one time I retreated into the inside of the pyramid because I thought the praetorian alien was to big to fit inside it. I was quickly proven wrong when it came in the pyramid and killed me.

Rookie survives because of you, he's a game character. In a video game. It's an experience made for you, the player. It's not meant to be factually accurate.
I still prefer AvP 2's story, but something about the Rookie's almost hopeless situation really sticks with me. At the end, he's delivered himself and his two friends over to the ship belonging to the same ruthless madman who had tried murdering him (by proxy) to cover up his secrets, and it's even implied they value the 'live specimen' inside Tequila more than her. It's really hard to imagine a happy outcome for the Rookie, though if it were to intersect with the other two campaigns I guess I can see this potential plot: Specimen 6 has quickly taken over part of the very same ship that Weyland's dropship had come from - the same ship headed for Xenomorph Prime - and when the Rookie arrives he is immediately woken up and given a proposition by an 'apologetic' Weyland: help clear out the infestation of Xenos AND the boarding party of Predators, and Weyland claims that he'll safely remove Tequila's parasite. As a twist, the cryosleep Tequila underwent led to the parasite becoming more 'symbiotic' with her, which gives WY a stronger motive to consider keeping her alive while Queen 6 considers her a potential rival, but also means Tequila herself is starting to mutate instead of simply risking death. The Predators blow up the ship once they realize there's more than one queen onboard, only for 6 to take over their ship and force it to crashland on Xeno Prime. Rookie and Tequila escape onto the planet while pursued by Predators, Weyland's troops, and 6's hive, but also have to contend with the 'indigenous' lifeforms - in addition to confronting 'primal Xenos' (which are likely to be even deadlier than the ones we already know), we could also see many other alien creatures inspired by the mutants from Prometheus. The planet is full of biomechanical weapons which would make it clear why WY is so obsessed with weaponizing the Xenos, and there are ancient machines scattered throughout that are capable of mutating and even creating life. We would get clues that the Xenos, humans, Predators, and countless other species were all created by the Engineers for an unknown purpose. The Rookie would eventually fight his way through a dead city, now converted into the largest hive on the planet, and make his way to the underground facility beneath it (while the Predator protagonist hunts down the 'Xeno Prime Queen' and 6 battles a revived Engineer) where there lies a giant 'fountain of life' where a barely-human Tequila is immersed inside in an attempt to 'restore' her body. Unfortunately, instead of 'restoring' her, Tequila is transformed completely into a new type of abomination, and becoming the Rookie's penultimate boss. I can imagine the campaigns all intersecting to having the 3 protagonists (Rookie, Predator, 6) all show down at the heart of this planet. Depending on which campaign you pick, you'll end up having to defeat the other two protagonists as extremely tough final bosses. As far as the Rookie's story goes, after defeating Queen 6 and Dark Predator, he considers himself fucked and decides to immerse himself in the 'fountain of life'. Only instead of mutating him, it rebirths him as a 'prime human'. With this new body, he is able to use Engineer technology, and with it is able to commandeer an Engineer ship with a flight course set directly for Earth.
Sheeesh that is a nice story for a game. The only part I didn't like was what happened to tequila because I wanted a happy ending for her and rookie lol
This actually sounds great. I would only make three changes to it. The first being Tequila doesn't die. Second, Rookie and Dark team up(Dark comes to realize that it was Rookie who caused great destruction in the Hive and killed one of the Queens and respects/honours him for it) against WY combat androids, WY soldiers/mercs, the xenomorphs and every other hostile creature and person. And third, Rookie and Katia, with Dark's help(using Yautja medical technology/methods)extract the xeno inside Tequila, kill it and save Tequila's life. If I had to add a fourth one, Rookie and Tequila find a ship to take them back to Earth(they make sure there are no xenos of any kind on the ship before take-off) and upon landing on Earth, they reach out to Ripley or a descendant of hers who knows how corrupt WY is to expose their true(corrupt) intentions and take them down.

But besides that rookie and tequila and katya report to the colonial marines about wayland yutani operations in BG-386 and how the marines were wiped out there. Then rookie and katya report that weyland are moving in to the xenomorph homeworld and are planning on weaponizing the xenomorphs. So the marines decide to go to the xenomorph homeworld. Rookie decides to go with the marines because he doesn’t want to see them die. Katya goes along with (tequila after having the alien removed) I’d assume rookie be promoted due to his actions in BG386 so they go to the xenomorph homeworld and you can only imagine what happens from here on out. One connection in mind is that the Rookie kills the Matriarch, causing Specimen 6 neural pain. Then, sometime later, Dark cuts through the hive in the refinery in pursuit of the Abomination 6 helped to bring into the world, going past the very matriarch the rookie killed in the aftermath. Another is when 6 sees the Yautja dropping off into the arena, possibly at the same time that Dark descends into the jungle, with 6 ultimately beating Wolf, and helping to bring into the world the very Abomination that Dark would ultimately go on to kill inside the pyramid soon before the rookie retrieves Weyland's executive data pad.
I love how I felt like I was in the Movie Aliens when Bill Praxton character saying how close the xenos are and how there's basically right in front of them! That's how the game felt for me my rookies radar is going off with 4 to 5 hostiles and I can't see a single one...........awesome game only thing that I didn't like it was too short for me but I loved it all the same
what confused me about the three stories is when do they happen in relation to each other? cause in the alien story you kill a predator wearing the mask with the alien vision and impregnate him but in the predator story you fight the predalien while wearing the same mask but it's in a different area
Roxas Deviluke 3 to 4 predators land on the planet As the alien, u kill two, impregnating one of them creating the predator-Xenomorph. another Predators killed by the rookie and the last Predator alive you play as has to fight the predator-Xenomorph
I agree. They should've had some.. but I think it was either due to time constraints of finishing the game.. But the odd thing is that you CAN see the marine doing some animations in the trailer that is not in the full game. Perhaps they just wanted to do it this way to place more fear and suspense in being a human.
After killing the queen I started to get really annoyed by the others still calling him a rookie lol... Like all of yall are useless compared to the "rookie" who killed a queen and 3 praetorians and a predator 😂
The marine story was as bland as ever, on par with AVP2's story. While it does familiarize you with the world and its characters, the Rookie is just a basic, boring carnation of the player's self. Gameplay-wise, it felt like a run-of-the-mill shooter compared to the predator and alien campaigns.

AcidGlow Could you do one on tequila?
+AcidGlow how long is a predator's life span? the crystal thing they use to heal themselves effectively causes hyper regeneration; cells replace themselves by creating new cells but over time they lose this ability to accurately replace themselves and this is what causes ageing. so by causing hyper regeneration you are effectively forcing your body to age. so this begs the question; assuming a predator never gets seriously injured and never fights or gets seriously sick how long is a predator's life span?

Then, sometime later, Dark cuts through the hive in the refinery in pursuit of the Abomination 6 helped to bring into the world, going past the very matriarch the rookie killed in the aftermath. Another is when 6 sees the Yautja dropping off into the arena, possibly at the same time that Dark descends into the jungle, with 6 ultimately beating Wolf, and helping to bring into the world the very Abomination that Dark would ultimately go on to kill inside the pyramid soon before the rookie retrieves Weyland's executive data pad.
they really need to make this backwards compatible on xbox one I miss this game so much
I love how I felt like I was in the Movie Aliens when Bill Praxton character saying how close the xenos are and how there's basically right in front of them! That's how the game felt for me my rookies radar is going off with 4 to 5 hostiles and I can't see a single one...........awesome game only thing that I didn't like it was too short for me but I loved it all the same
It was pretty good.
what happend to them after tho
Change the video name from Rookie to Boot.
I want to make a AVP triology with the Rookie character
I wonder what happen to him.
Insane I played this game at 8-10 years old
I hope they make a new AVP game soon
what confused me about the three stories is when do they happen in relation to each other? cause in the alien story you kill a predator wearing the mask with the alien vision and impregnate him but in the predator story you fight the predalien while wearing the same mask but it's in a different area
Roxas Deviluke
3 to 4 predators land on the planet
As the alien, u kill two, impregnating one of them creating the predator-Xenomorph. another Predators killed by the rookie and the last Predator alive you play as has to fight the predator-Xenomorph
Blessed Drones
I thought u came in the game with a haunting party with 3 other predators?
Yeah at first I thought there was no reason for there to be that many but then I remembered they saw the xenomorphs on the planet before they arrived
Rookie(avp) should join forces with doom slayer, Rookie(ODST), and Rookie(Far Cry 5) since they too can fight with a pistol.
Wait, so they're NOT going to take the embryo out of tequila?! Why??
5:37 weiland's face😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Beginner's luck
That isn’t a Queen it’s an empress
In the campaigns it was a queen, a empress is waaaaaaay bigger
So in chronological order, it’s marine predator then alien, right?
I bet rookie killed more aliens then the serpent hunter
And you would know celtic
Why dont humans have finishing moves?
I agree. They should've had some.. but I think it was either due to time constraints of finishing the game.. But the odd thing is that you CAN see the marine doing some animations in the trailer that is not in the full game. Perhaps they just wanted to do it this way to place more fear and suspense in being a human.
Stay Frosty
yeah I played this is was crazy fighting the preditor in the arena had to use the heat from the fires...!
I bet he get the highest rang in the hole army
yessss I love this Fucking Game
Datapads could have been better
This could be a movie.
Rookies are always badasses, no matter the game
In the first encounter with de predator you Rookie kills that predator... (I killer him)
Kill*
the story should have been longer...
My goat
Wow
IM SOOO CONFUUUUUUUSSED!!!😣😣😣😣

Acidglow do not go see the new Predator film, it is a big disappointment

5:32

Rookie is fucking BADASS
Scp sequel would be awesome but we all know that sega dosent give a sh** about this game anymore :/
This game is pure genius and gold
I think that we will go to the xenomorph homeworld
Who has survival edition???
I do
what a beast.
One lucky sunbitch
After killing the queen I started to get really annoyed by the others still calling him a rookie lol...
Like all of yall are useless compared to the "rookie" who killed a queen and 3 praetorians and a predator 😂
it's a bit far fetched. rookie defeating everything
Ross Macmillan
nah i think it proves that rookies can be badasses
Nic Chavez yeah I guess it does. We all love a bad ass right
Ross Macmillan Is it really? A hulking Austrian man beat the predator with nothing but a couple sharp sticks in the first movie.
Well the girl on the radio did help rookie survive
666th like
The marine story was as bland as ever, on par with AVP2's story. While it does familiarize you with the world and its characters, the Rookie is just a basic, boring carnation of the player's self. Gameplay-wise, it felt like a run-of-the-mill shooter compared to the predator and alien campaigns.
