In 90' the greatest hits was released and I became reacquainted with their music. A track called "Spirit" really caught my attention as I had never heard the "Spirit of Eden" album before; I really wasn't aware if Talk Talk were even a functioning band at that point, but they were. Great music is timeless and this music transcends time and space.

The song you refer to is not called Spirit, it's actually 'I Believe In You'. Written about his brother Ed,who was struggling with a heroin addiction, and sadly passed away two years after the song was written!

This band of talent carried me through my teens. What happened to Mark? Such a shock to hear about his death with no prior warning he was unwell.. Please can someone explain further if known! Miss his genius..
