I've stayed at that Del Coronado hotel before in SD. Gotta go over that long narrow bridge to get into the Coronado island. Beautiful area. Hotel i thought was haunted and gave me " The Shining" vibes bc the hallways looked kinda like in the movie, and it had those old school metal grated elevators with a bellhop dressed in red attire to take you up/down. The hotel is close to a Naval Base, called "Naval Base Coronado". The room we had was nice with a gorgeous ocean facing view (same 3rd floor ocean facing balconies seen here at 17:28). Off the balcony I could see the planes(Big Navy planes) coming in as they approach to land, spanning from left to right as you look out to the ocean(pretty damn close too as they fly right over the beach basically). Good luck getting any sleep lol, nahhh kinda get used to it i guess. Remember specifically a little bakery in town down the street you could walk too, had really good fresh cookies, pastries, donuts and such every morning i would hit up. Del Coronado is definitively a very nice area.

I've been a subscriber for many years and this was one of the best videos you have put out. I grew up in O.C. CA the 60's, 70's, 80's surfing NB and HB, I loved the night surfing section of the video. I brought back many found memories of my friends and that would surf the HB pier all night 10 PM till sunrise back in the day before HB had the curfew. I miss those days of freedom. I've had a lot of health issues sense 2007 that have kept me out of the water, your videos keep me laughing, smiling, ands I love what your doing with your new surf school at Del Mar. Always look forward to your next video.

Epic! Went to the Ranch for the very 1st contest years ago. Seeing it peel for the 1st time is life changing, exactly what you dream about as a kid. Unfortunately I'm not rich or special and don't know anyone special so will never get to experience the wave except in my dreams of course. Cheers all 💛

ALOHA Jaime… i don’t know how to DM you via UA-cam so going public … would you be interested and is the KS wave pool accesible for peeps with spinal cord issues ? My best friend has had a REALLY rough time lately not including being paralyzed 10 years ago and I’d like to see if we could pilot a program to enjoy the surfing in a controlled environment- maybe like make a wish foundation … let me know if this makes sense and you are interested and wanting to be part of it eg teach or be in water with those less fortunate - let me know - Alex

YEAH BROTHA JAMES!!! Wow starting at Spyder to see the Boyz Dennis and Dickie!!! I spent a year up there in high school. I was lucky enough to get a sponsorship from Dennis! Shaped me some of my BEST boards I still ever had! Dickie was a Grom when I worked at the shop also, which was sick. Now Dickie is running thangs, good man Dickie!! Wow fun time at the pool. You know I know all about spine injuries with my 3 back surgeries but I'm LUCKY to be walking. Still haven't been able to surf 3 to 4 years out from last surgery, again thanks for the love from you and Tina!!!! Still chokes me up to think of what you guys did❤️ If I can ever help Red Bull destinations at the pool or any where with anything for the people you surf please let me know. I've done a lot of work with Life Rolls On with the Pink Team so I'm there if you need me!!! A huge hello to Tina and Sally and the Team!!! Guy is always so humble and positive!
The wave itself and the entire facility seems amazing and just next level. What is missing and no one seems to talk about this is that when you are surfing you are looking straight into the machine or moving train and the structure. Would be cool if it had some nicer design and surfaces to make it more pleasing to look at.
What would you suggest Kenneth? Have a painted billboard on the rail?
@@mugshotmarley I dont know but its something to think about. I am not familiar with that particular structure and the mechanics and construction of the system. Would be a cool design project.
