Great video, you always have great content, and i enjoy the historical references. It was definitely a simpler time compared to the world we currently live in!
Great video! Brought back a lot of memories for me. Those Mountain Cur dogs are awesome for those that live in the country. They are also great for keeping varmints away from your fowl. I use to breed American Treeing Fiest years ago. They are kinda like the cur as they are hybrids of several breeds that are used as tree dogs. I lost my favorite one to coyote. She was stuck on tree one night on her own. I heard the coyotes start to sing but before I could get back there they had finished her. She only weighed 13 pounds. I got revenge by chaining up a big catchweight bulldog where they had got her. A couple nights later we heard then singing and shorty after we heard them screaming. The bulldog was fine but there was a lot of coyote fur everywhere. I'm pretty sure they probably avoided that part of my woods after that. 😆 lol
liked the classic look of black and white. the reference to months without bread shows the importance of a corn patch and harvest.watching the starvation on all the alone seasons just shows how important basic agriculture was and still is today. only today we have others doing it for us instead of ourselves. if we go back to an agrarian type society i see the population falling drastically because society as a whole is lazy now and dont understand the amount of work involved in agrarian life based on the work alone of ones hands.i seen a video of a russian homestead back in the day still owned by family.in kitchen there was a very large trunk/chest with a padlock on it. it was where flour and other essentials were kept safe from both family and being stolen by outsiders.they talked about how there ancestors said it was locked up like tat as it was the most valuable possession they owned in the house.is there a email to contact you at to expand on a few theories/thoughts and ideas i have?
