    600 kms range is mad man! It's like a biker can actually enjoy the views instead of continually filtering the vision for the sight of a petrol station! Has Stallion's mileage gotten better after the first service?

    • @StallionRides
      @StallionRides  Рік тому

      Hello again, Joy.
      Absolutely, baba. The tank range is too good, however there's a catch..you have to ride in Eco mode, without too many abrupt throttle inputs.
      Honestly, Stallion's mileage hasn't changed in any way since Day 1, it always gives a mileage over 30kmpl no matter how you ride.. if you ride Eco then above 37kmpl..always.

    • @StallionRides
      @StallionRides  Рік тому +5

      Hello to you, Sachin.
      Yes, please. The motorcycle will effortlessly climb steep roads with luggage and a pillion. Tried and tested. All you need to ensure is to be on the right gear, the engine loves to be on the boil, it's like I use 1st gear for a speed up to 30kmph, 2nd gear for up to 45-50kmph, 3rd gear from 45-90kmph, and 4th gear almost always after 90kmph. 5th gear is only for cruising.
      You should be able to climb steep roads effortlessly on the first 3 gears depending on the degree of incline :)
      Hope that helps.

      hey, Jack.
      Was the smoke coming from the engine area of the motorcycle? Was the color white? If yes, that may be because you were stuck in heavy traffic for a long time during the motorcycle run-in period.
      Nothing to worry about, I have had occasions of that.
      Also, what is the temperature of where you live, in cold temperatures also this may happen, again I had some instances. Performance has never been impacted though.

    What accessories have you added to your bike so far ?
    Does it need handle bar raisers for comfort ?

    • @StallionRides
      @StallionRides  Рік тому +3

      Hello there, Keith.
      During the Ladakh ride, the motorcycle was in stock condition, no accessories.
      Handle Bar Risers - I genuinely do not feel the need of it. Infact I enjoy the slight lean the handle bar offers, gives me better control and I love this posture. Also, I feel adding risers will mess slightly with the handling of the machine.
      Apart from that, a few months ago, I added the below accessories.
      1. Motorcycle Handle Crash Bar
      2. HJG Series Fog Lights ( you need aux lights for sure, the standard lights are not useful in the dark)
      3. Sans Classic Parts - Engine Sump Guard/ Bash Plate
      4. Sans Classic Parts - Carrier without backrest
      5. Sans Classic Parts - Headlight Grill
      6. Sans Classic Parts - Saddle Stay

    Brother what is the avg that you have maintained and gear ratio?
    I’m planning a bike
    Stuck between speed 400 and this one.
    Open for suggestions!

    • @StallionRides
      @StallionRides  Рік тому +3

      Hello there.
      During this ride specifically, I was riding in the ECO mode as much as possible on every gear. The cruising speed mostly was 90kmph and occasionally would do 100-110kmph.
      There wasn't any petrol pump in this region and hence wanted to make the petrol last.
      I can guarantee that the Speed 400 will not be a comfortable or reliable machine for long rides, it's too small, plus has a high compression, high revving engine. You might want to wait for the Scrambler 400.
      My point is, even before the Speed 400 or Scrambler, we had machines like the Duke 390, Dominar, the Interceptor twins, the Adventure 390, etcetera-- still some of us did not purchase it. Why? Because we know that those machines are not as reliable or we don't trust them like we trust Honda.
      If you are looking for SPEED (that is you want to ride fast) don't purchase the Honda CB350 RS.
      If you want a reliable, long-term performing, hassle-free, big motorcycle, that will chug many miles comfortably at a speed of 100-110kmph, then just buy the Honda.

      Comfortable for long rides - Yes, I have done over 1000kms in a day. Experienced no back pain, bum pain ;) , shoulder pain, leg pain.
      Handle Bar Risers - I don't need them, I totally love the riding posture. A bit of lean gives more connect to the machine and roads, it's a more fulfilling experience if you ask me.
