It was a marvelous trip overall, other than this one small high altitude issue with the bike
The bike performed phenomenally well and didn't give any mechanical troubles, not even a single puncture!
This high altitude performance drop issue now has been resolved by Honda via free ECU Update at BigWing Service Centres
Honda claims that the issue has been resolved but there is no proof regarding that yet
Since the update rolled out in November 2021, no bikes have been tested or taken to such high altitudes (18,000 ft.) by any Honda owner.

So this is just a feed back I would like to share here.
The heading of the vdo is quite older (2 years back) it seems. We covered the entire Leh-Ladakh Circuit including Fotule, Umling La, Tso Moriri - more higher passes than Khardung La; recently in the month of May 2024. Absolutely NO ISSUES at all while riding the entire bike ride till Pune. We were with four HONDA CB350 (HNESS-3/RS-1), Xpulse200, KTM Duke 390 & Versys 650.. The best performance given by HNES.. with 40+ milage and no power loss at any point.
According to some reviews there are below problems in this bike.
1. Self start - Problem with electrical equipment. Self start not working...frequently need to change that unit.
2. Brake pads - Short life ...required to be changed frequently.
3. Rust
4. Wobbling.

Bhai dhyaan se dekho video end tak. ECU update kara liya hai hum sabne par Ladakh le kar nhi bike testing karne.

HP drop = (hight in feet x 0.03 x rated HP) / 1000.... always the rated HP will be at sea level....
Carburetor wali bike struggle karti hai....... Mixture screw se thoda oxygen badhana padta hai.

Heared Honda has come up with an ECU update for high altitude issues. Did that fix the issue to some extent?
Yes, Honda did roll out the ECU update!

Bhai please guide me. I am confuse between classic 350 reborn and highness 350?.. which one should I go for?
2) highness 350 don't have spoke wheels , did it create any problem on your ride? Because many people say alloy wheels are not good for offroading or if you are travelling to mountains.
Both bikes are neck to neck! Performance and quality wise both are similar with Honda being a little better with quality. Service and dealer network of Honda Bigwing is very poor right now. Looks wise Classic wins here.
Alloy wheels never gave any troubles even with hardcore offroading. Spoke would be a better option but if you get a puncture at a remote location then it gets difficult to fix a tube so I prefer alloys.
Try and feel both the bikes and go with your heart! Hope this helps!
Bro I would say go with Enfield. I own CB350, I didn't find it worth buying. From paint to performance everything is not of Honda standards. Customer service is pathetic and careless.
Better go for Enfield, have look at it before you buy CB350. I don't know if it will ever have a good resale value or not like Enfield.

If you still want to go for CB350 then Gurgaon wale showroom se ache se check kar k Lena. Ghaziabad se bilkul mat lena. Mai pichle 7-8 months se inse Ladd raha hoo. Mere tank par paint ka issue hai jo ye log sort out nahi kar rahe.
Bohot sari cheeze sochne k baad hi maine tumhe Enfield suggest Kiya hai..rest is your taste.
I regret buying CB350 honestly.
@@amitamitc6396 bhai maine 13th october ko book karai thi classic 350, abhi tak nhi mile. Har month jaata hu bolte hai is month aa jayegi. Or upar se sales vaalo ka attitude aise hai ki aap nhi loge to koi or le lega.
I know classic 350 is worth it but showroom people don't have a good attitude. This is the reason I started looking for other bikes.

You will get the bike with updated ECU so you won't face this issue!

Honda thinks it can outrun RE especially in a country like ours. RE makes war machines & they know exactly what's needed for such terrains. How could honda possibly summarize that it can outweigh RE with their fancy nonsense big wing( whatever that means) shit. Everbody used and still uses RE for long rides and ladakh. It was born from war.
Now suddenly this cheesy highness appears out of nowhere with it's ironed jeans, convinced it can beat the mighty RE. Ha ha lowness 350 chicken wings...😅😅.
Stop being a brand fanboy and appreciate the product, not the brand. Honda fixed this issue, infact highness beats classic in almost all aspects except the service network... To offset this, Honda is reliable and doesn't fail all of a sudden

Srill Honda highness is better than Classic Reborn this problem has been solved by ECU UPDATE.... Royal Enfield is just metal body nothing else... I took my Himalayan in spiti brand new it stopped working in middle of road has to tow the bike till Delhi... Same thing happened with my friends thuderbird... Royal Enfield sucks
