Thanks for the detailed review. Going on our first cruise on Saturday and have booked a Byron Beach Club mini suite. It's great to know what to expect. Thanks again.
@@ChilledOut Sorry for late reply, i was away (again…) Our cruise was great, we had a lovely time. The mini suite was exactly as described in the video and the Byron beach club access meant we were really well looked after with a lot of extra perks. It’s worth spending a little more for it. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate, I’ll do my best to answer 😊
Hello Ando; We are calling into Airlie Beach during our cruise and booked a Byron Beach Club Mini Suite, do we get priority tendering? If so, can you explain to us about it if you can? Thanks
Hi! Sounds fun! Priority tendering means you won’t need to grab a number and wait your turn. You can just head down to the tenders and get on the next available one. There may still be a little line, due to the numbers being called, but you won’t have to worry about waiting for a specific turn. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the reply@@CruisingWithAndo. Also, I just realised that our MA Category byron beach club mini suite have previously been just a normal mini suite. Now I am questioning whether or not the furnitire for byron beach club applies to these rooms. Is there anyway to know?
@user-qk3zo2dv7l Hmm… that I’m not sure of. We were in M1 category, room 9217. I would imagine if it’s a BBC cabin, it would be donned with BBC furniture. You could always reach out to them via their FB page, online chat on their website or call them to find out for sure. Or when you get a cabin number, see if someone has done a video on here or the many cruise cabin review websites. Best of luck!
There are two TV’s next to each other - one facing the main bed and the other facing the sofa. Both individually controlled, but only one remote in our experience.
@@CruisingWithAndo thankyou so much! I really enjoyed the 2 separate flat screens on Coral Princess (MC) much better placed - allowing both to be used simultaneously . Given 1 remote - I guess it's just as well I'm travelling alone
@@ColetteNicoll Yeah I agree! We would leave the location/stats screen up on one and use the other to browse the channels. Very useful having two! I’ll have more content soon, so feel free to subscribe, if you like :)
One thing that hasn't been mentioned in any blog or review is the complete absence of accessibility for anyone with mobility issues. That's correct, one of the highlights of booking a byron suite, the retreat area is only accessible by a sizable flight of stairs. In this day and age, this is quite a slap in the face to anyone that would find stairs a challenge. A big thumbs down P&O 👎
Hello & thank you for your comment. It’s good that you’ve highlight this lack of coverage in reviews and it’s unfortunate it seems to be an oversight for the most part - I’ll be mindful of this and try and cover off some accessibility topics on my next cruise video :)
Great video! Can't wait to go!
Nice work, very detailed review.

Thank you for the feedback - I really appreciate it! Hope you have an amazing cruise!
Update please, how was your BBC experience?

Wow!! I need to book a cruise ASAP 😍
If you have 1 cabin with access to this, can you let your friends in?

hey mate i just wanted to ask if u went on the cruise from brisbane to airlie beach and back to brisbane bc i was on there aswell
Hello! Yes, I was on that cruise! Hope you enjoyed it :)
Can the sofa bed be folded up during the day to allow for more space in the lounge area?
It sure can! Could do it yourself or ask the room stewards and they’ll happily do it.
There’s toilets in the spa right next to the bbc pool/spa. You just have to use your card to open the door
Ah yes, we forgot about these because they were out of order for our whole cruise and had to use the other ones!
Is Byron beach club available to all mini suites ?
Do all mini suites have access to Byron beach?
No, only the Byron Beach Club mini-suite, within the “mini suite” categories. The other suite categories have access.
Is there 1 or 2 TV's in BBBC Mini Suites?
There are two TV’s next to each other - one facing the main bed and the other facing the sofa. Both individually controlled, but only one remote in our experience.

What room number was it?
This was room 9217 :)
