    I used this yesterday and it worked great! I have naturally black hair that was lightened to a brown. It started to go blonde/brass and this was great. I used shower temperature water to open up the follicles, let it sit for like 3 mins while I shaved and stuff, then washed off. My hair was less blond/ brass :)

    Try leaving the blue shampoo on for a 10 minutes and 15 for conditioner.

    I can see a subtle difference. I think it's due to the fact that you have had your hair lightened. I am thinking this works best on natural brown hair. Maybe you could try leaving it on for an hour or so. Your hair looks lovely and I actually do like the colour. Thanks for the review, anyway. :) you did well and you perservered well.

    Wash with warm water > Apply shampoo > Wash with cold water
    (You need to upen-up the hair follicles first with warm water,then let the hair to absorbs the color for 10minutes minimum,then close the follicles again with cold water)

    I wouldn't worry too much about the brassiness when you have a brunette ombre. It is supposed to look caramel colored. I don't think there is anything wrong with your hair. A brunette ashy ombre wouldn't look right and you wouldn't get that pretty contrast.

    I think leaving it longer it may work better. I bleached my hair and turned orange I was scared to bleach it again so I bought the blue shampoo and it turned from orange to a nice golden blonde

    i went to beauty school and learned that blue pigment cancels orange pigment . So I put blue hair color on my orange/golden hair mixed with conditioner and it turned straight up blue /green . never doing that again . im fixing it right now , turning it into a reddish brown . I can't believe how bad of an experience this was . I should of done a patch test , so dumb of me . UGH!

    • @thelostjournalofmystifying354
      @thelostjournalofmystifying354 6 років тому

      i did it on both brown hair . all it did was turn the orange parts green because the blue cancels the orange but it mixes with the yellow .

    Hello! As a licensed Cosmetologist, I would highly recommend taking the shampoo and conditioner to your stylist so she can take a look to see if the products are real, expired, etc. Ordering products not directly through a cosmetologist doesn't guarentee the product being the real thing. I absolutely love this product and I use it on my clients! Places like Walmart, Marshalls, or even Amazon have a lot of products that are fakes or not to the products truest form!

    The main problem is that you bought Joico shampoo from Amazon. Unfortunately, in my experience those are always fake product. Get it at a salon or an actual beauty supply and leave it on a few moments longer.

    Well color depositing shampoo if you want colorful results you need lighter hair. Color depositing shampoo works best when you leave it in for a while then wash it out and it's meant for people with colored hair to touch up their hair without dying it.

    That shampoo is really for blonde, your lightest color is what?.. a 6, or maybe 7? This product wasn't really meant for your hair color. I can see some ash I. The darkest part, and the lightest part is a neutral blonde. You would have probably had better luck with a purple shampoo if anything.

    You can also use a blue or blue silver toner mix a little bit in 10 vol developer and it comes out great. When mixing it get it to a greyish color it takes orange away in 10 - 15 minutes.
