Okay, I've heard mixed reviews about this exact exhaust setup. Personally, I love the tone, but I can't truly tell how loud it is until I hear it in person. In your opinion, is it honestly too loud to daily?
I had the same set up, when the engine is still heating up if u start driving immediately it actually hurts your ear drums. If you floor it even when the engine is heated up it’s gonna hurt whoever’s walking on the sidewalks ears. But at cruising speed there is zero drone and you barely remember you have the exhaust. It’s really only when you’re “on it” do you notice it. Hope this helps 😁

But to give u an example, I was at the shop right as he put everything on. He floored it down the road and everyone outside was completely dumbfounded at how loud it was. Like screaming about how it was even possibly it got that loud. But I’m the idiot that went even louder cuz that’s just who I am lmao.
@@Ragged.09 naw I have a roush catback. And just took off the axle back, replaced it with a SR performance muffler delete on American muscle. With 2 inch high flow kooks. I’ll go catless after I pass emissions again/register where they don’t test whichever’s easier. My mechanic said welding is cool and all but if u buy a muffler delete you know it’s perfect. He’s never impressed with me but he was glad I bought actual kits instead of welding. But whatever’s in ur budget/whatever u wanna do.
I have the full corsa and honestly it sounds the exact same maybe just maybe the kooks are one to two decibles louder but that’s looking at it scientifically because when I cold start mine it sounds the exact same, I’ve got a video on a pull on my channel take a listen
I would say any headers paired with xtremes and ataks r brutal but especially kooks headers. The loudest possible setup on an s550 would probably be open headers or “dumps”

Do you know if Kooks headers are louder than Corsa Xtreme Catless?
Honestly not sure. I’ve never heard an s550 in person with Corsa LTH

Do you have long tube 2 inch with green cats
2in long tubes are for 1000+RWHP cars, no benefit for NA and you wouldn’t want cats at that level.
How does it sound inside the cabin, any drone ?

You would have no issue daily driving with this setup. Obviously you can hear it but no drone.
