Is funny how they make outrageous claims with no proof. One thing I learn in life is that when someone makes great money in life, they do not share their earnings or secrets. So this yells a scam to me.

I do courier work, and I can say this is achievable. I gross 1800 to 2100 range. After taxes and expenses I'll keep 1400 to 1700, gotta be willing to put the time in though. I see alot of people come in thinking they'll be rich in a week, then quit the next week

Hi @Roberto Vasquez 😇 Thanks for your take on the work 🙂 In my experience doing Uber Eats for 12hrs a day, 7 days a week, here in Sydney (Australia) the work has been slowing down by a lot. The reduced pay which came from that is mostly a knock on effect from what you might've already guessed: increased cost of living between inaffordable housing, bumped up interest rates chewing up disposable income, relatively stagnant wages, and inflation from corporate profiteering on the goods and services we regularly buy to live a day-to-day. 😕 At present I've come to the conclusion that with a looming recession, here in Australia, and the one that has already arrived in my bank account - heading back home for work as a Medical Courier might be more financially viable to pay my bills than as a Restaurant Courier. Mind you that's after considering my daily gross ranged between AUD 400 to 500 before interest rates went up in 2022. Now, I'm earning less than half of that amount, at AUD 180 to 190 per day for the same hours: 12hrs a day, 7 days a week. 😔 As you might've gone on to guess well about that also - this Restaurant gig is no longer financially viable for me at less than half of my pre-rate hike income. 🤗 All that is to ask of you a personal insight, what has been your understanding for the main factors that influence Medical Couriers to drop off the gig after a short while? 😕🤷‍♂️ My work ethic is in check, and have consistently been acknowledged by Uber as one of their top 8 to 11% drivers on the platform nationwide, with all the exclusive benefits that come along with that "distinction". In saying that - I'm hoping faint heartedness is the main factor influencing Medical Couriers to quit after assuming its a get-rich-quick scheme. If it is more than faint heartedness for putting in the hours and effort to be punctual, courteous, and communicative with clients - please do share your insights as to the main factor(s) which influence Medical Couriers to quit shortly after assuming its easy money. I don't want to be on a one-way ticket back home (Dallas-Fort Worth) on false pretences, from not having consulted an experienced professional such as yourself. 😅 Please accept my apologies in advance for being long winded with my question. 😁🙏 Also, thank you in advance for your patience in reading through it and offering me your most honest reply. 🙂

*I am an independent contractor medical courier. I drive for 2 seperate companies. One is for a pharmacy delivering patients prescriptions. I do this 3 days per week. Typically takes from 2-4hrs. The other is picking up Covid tests for another company Mon-Fri evenings and I am done in 4hrs. I make $975.00 week gross (Total take home with both jobs) before tax / gas So nowhere near 2,500 week. Is it possible? Perhaps but I have not found this yet.*
*The best week I had was when my Mon-Fri gig asked me to run on a Sat one week and they paid me a $100.00 bonus on top of my normal compensation. That week I grossed $1,210.00 My .02 cents.*

And you think that's not much money? I earn that without the deductions for health, dental, retirement, etc. Obviously my take home is less than yours. I went to college, and have an A.A. in child development. Do you know how much money, time and effort it takes to earn a degree, from even a community college? In addition, my job is very stressful.

Finding an income for me it’s my goal. After months of searching I am to the point that I have called back some companies that had rejected my application and asked of why 😢 but no response. I need an income and here trying to find a decent way to make money.

I would imagine if you set aside 15% for taxes &10% vehicle maintenance it would still be worth it. My 11yo has behavior issues &im a single mom. If you are making 6 figures you should have a CPA and you should be driving under your business name. Your car, miles, maintenance, etc can be written off so who cares about the wear and tear. If you were making $50,000 a year at a job in a building without using your car but could make $100,000 using your car why wouldn't you? You could afford to buy yourself another personal vehicle and keep using the tax write off vehicle.
