- Peakto is a meta-cataloging tool powered by AI that gathers all of a photographer's photos in a single interface, thanks to its compatibility with various photo editing software such as Apple Photos, Lightroom Classic, Luminar AI/Neo, Capture One, Pixelmator Pro, Aperture, and iView Media. Designed to be a control tower that gives photographers a comprehensive view of their photos, Peakto provides tools to manage, analyze, search, automatically sort, and create multi-sourced albums. It is respectful of file sizes and photographers' organization, and does not create copies or move originals. Instead, it accesses high-resolution previews to provide an always up-to-date, fluid, and elegant workspace.

You talk about how to navigate the interface bu move through the navigation so quickly I don't see what you are clicking on before you are moving on. Rewinding does help. A big cursor and a pause when you go to a new icon (such as panorama) would make the video clearly.

Bonjour , je pense que raconter ce que peut faire le logiciel en francais me semblerait plus pertinent, j'ai un peu peur que ce que propose Peakto on commence à le retrouver dans des logiciels comme On1. C'est un peu cher ...

Contrairement à d'autres logiciels d'édition, Peakto offre des fonctionnalités avancées de recherche, telles que la recherche conversationnelle, l'attribution automatique de mots-clés et la création de smart albums. De plus, Peakto vise à devenir un hub central pour toutes vos photos, en offrant une compatibilité avec des logiciels tels que Lightroom, Capture One, Luminar, ON1, DxO, Apple Photos, ainsi qu'avec des dossiers et de nombreuses autres solutions. Peakto vient également combler des lacunes de catalogage de certaines applications (absence de carte dans ON1, DxO ou Capture One, absence d'annotations dans Apple Photos...) en proposant ces fonctions pour toutes les photos, quel que soit leur application hôte. Avec la multiplication des photos dans diverses solutions de stockage et logiciels, de nombreux photographes ressentent le besoin d'avoir une vue centralisée dans Peakto, ce qui leur permet ensuite de tirer parti des meilleures fonctionnalités de chaque logiciel.
when I work with albums, can I manually determine the order of the images and move them back and forth. And if I copy a selection with a specific order to a new album, does that individual order remain?

Albums are currently unordered. That is, you can sort them according to some criteria, but you cannot set a custom image format. Some photo apps allow that, some others do not. Is this something that is important to you?
The second part of your question is also obvious: there is no order, so we lose the order of the selection. If order in albums is important, we can work on it. I add a card in our public roadmap to collect votes.
Is there a way to see duplicates? Is it possible to bring photos from fragmented sources together? 🙏
There isn't yet a dedicated view for that but we will introduce dedicated tools to view, identify, remove, etc... duplicates. Currently you can sort the grid view by Instant Size. Instants group together similar photos and duplicates...so you can use that to identify them...but Instants also groups images that are variations of the same original...and are not duplicates...which makes them less suitable for that task. Please stay tuned for when we release that dedicated feature. Soon.
Yes it is. Peakto's purpose is to create a digital hub for all your photos, regardless where they live. If your photos are scattered in apps, folders, drives,...you can get a unified view on all of them from peakto...without moving your images, without changing the apps you use for editing or even for cataloging.

I remembered seeing you seomewhere, but could not remeber the name of the app. I tried to search and had to do some amount of work to find you again. But keep up the good work! How can I teach peakto to recognize a face (e.g. my wife) so I can assemble just images containing her.
Peakto will soon be able to recognize faces and let you annotate people manually or using smart suggestions. We are actively working on it and will share progress soon.
